What about the POM... would love to know what ever happened to him/her..had some great inside insight of the club, then never to be heard of again.

well he did stop posting around time Pascoe got sacked. So that must of been his source.

I think Bula is a bit of a victim of our teams overall lack of speed...hes easily handled when half chances arrive because the defence hasnt had to work too hard.
Hes been disappointing lately lowest run meters of all fullbacks so far this round
Our.lack of speed compared to probably the fastest team in the comp was extremely evident yesterday.

We really need to recruit some fast outside backs and a big kicker

My main issue with Bula is he is very much involved in our ball movement, yet seems to either take the wrong option or passes too early or too late. His ball playing ability compared to other fullbacks needs serious work. Atm his extremely dangerous sniffing around looking for an offload around the ruck. Hopefully his ball playing is being worked on.

All good fullbacks have to be good under the high ball or they become a liability. You can't dismiss that skill in the modern game.

Man I watched some of the older games (80's)... the fullbacks were hopeless.
I mean were talking run 20 meters to pick up the ball and almost drop it. It felt like reserve grade.

Times have changed.

Really attard is a pure fullback , way did Penrith show him the door , he is average at best

Penrith also have Jaxon Edgar playing FB. Attard asked for a release and signed with us. They're both good young players.

I remember he did it towards Lomax a few years ago, when playing for us.
Cameras caught it and all, everyone could tell what he was saying.

Didn't make the news back then.

That'd be unreal. Our centres stocks are hanging by a thread. Taylan May is being held together by sticky tape, Herbert gone for a while now it seems, Starford cannot be relied upon and seems better suited to wing, Makasini too young and prefers the left side.

I have seen a lot of improvement in his ball-playing this season. Still not getting it right as often as I/we would like, particularly around cut-out passing choices, but at least he is doing it.
