Right side centres are rare as hens teeth. I think he is only on the left to protect his injured elbow. Once he gets that sorted he will be back on the right. Thats why i wouldnt be surprised if manly paid full freight.Talk is we are not
Luke has been one of our best this year. Personally I've had him in my 3-2-1 a few times, which is rare for a winger. Get him back.Luke Laulilli at Leichhardt Oval against the Cowboys in round 2.
But let’s leave him in NSW Cup to make multiple tackle breaks and over 200 run metres each week.

He was a bench player on the weekend.Smart play from us for a change, striking while the iron is hot.
I know money is tight and we may need tj hopefully offload 1 or 2 more, but signing Averillo is not enough, we still need another good quality outside back and we still need someone with good leg speed, mobility or attacking threat as a back up edge forward and to provide impact off the bench when we are full strength.
Shawn Blorecwoikd be ok as he is clearly an acceptable NRL standard edge forward, but I would ideally prefer someone with a bit more x-factor in attack and besides that it’s hard tj imagine Blore will be happy leaving the Storm to become a bench player when the team is at full strength.

Nofo used to do it all the time, the attacking team always knew he'd come in to try for an intercept this leaving the opposition winger unmarked so he either ended up scoring a long distance try, knocked it on giving the opposition 6 more tackle or more commonly his opposite would stroll over in the corner unmarked.Agree,
2 of them aren’t and may never be first graders - and Turuva is slower than me..
Would love to see a stat on long range tries being scored - reckon we’d be in the bottom half of the comp.
There’s plenty of teams when there’s an intercept, you can shit the gate - can’t remember when I’ve ever felt like that….
Koroibete maybe?
Not the benchmark id want to be compared to lolSame reason Galvin posted TDS signing to the Eels. Just good mates
Absolutely they areYou really think the Dragon’s team are faster than WT?
Saukuru is faster and more powerful than Toa, surely he gets crack sooner rather than later. Our outside backs who currently offer more tackle bust threat, line break threat and consistently make big metres each game are Luke Laulilli, Solomone Saukuru and Jeral Skelton.
Common sense would tell you at least 2 of them need to be playing in our NRL with Taylan May and Sunia Turuva being locks for the other two positions within our 2-5.
Makasini has massive potential and played ok against the Dolphins when he come on, but he is not showing enough tackle break and line break threat at the moment and that would be ok if the others were doing it, but if we are being honest Taylan May and Sunia Turuva have not been close to their best recently themselves.
So if we cannot rely on them to provide us with a bit of x-factor, we need to find a couple of players who can assist in doing so.
I know some will say Starford To’a beat 5 players to score a try against the Dolphins and that is great, but what did he do for the rest of the game ?
His yardage carries are bog average and similar to when Tavana was in the team, he will be looking for support as soon as he has clear space ahead of him from any distance.
Unless you have the size and physique of Jeral Skelton, there is no excuse and it is embarrassing to have NRL wingers that have no speed to score or finish off long range tries.
The players picked ahead of them are just as bad as these two. So what's the difference? Crap defence but good in attack or crap defence and average attackSo you are saying Benji and the Wests Tigers coaching staff have no common sense? I do not understand why you need to take digs at people whilst communicating your opinion. You arent right, its nothing more than your opinion.
We have the 3rd worst defence in the competition.
Points conceded:
Dragons 449
Eels 433
Tigers 418
So whilst attack is all good and well, the last thing we need are more defensive liabilities. Luke is a proven liability. Suakuru from all reports is too.
Common sense to play 2 of these blokes? I think not.
Absolutely.Maka looks like he has gone backwards, I think we have rushed him into 1st grade why to early , he is not the gem that the club was hoping for , should be in nsw cup for the rest of the year , and see how he goes
Incorrect. While Panthers aren't super express speed each of their players, man for man, are faster than oursIt used to be a massive problem. Less so now with Bula, Luai, Turuva, Attard, Mason who are all quick enough without being outright speedsters. Will be better with Averillo.
Our first choice back line could race the Panthers back line and there wouldn’t be much of a difference. The difference is the footy IQ, fitness and physicality.
Yeah - dunno we have anyone that gets close to milky on his own…Incorrect. While Panthers aren't super express speed each of their players, man for man, are faster than ours
Were missing utilities. My point is that the best side in the comp can flog a bottom feeder with a full strength side yet lose to a similar level side when they have their origin players out.
We are so down on troops with poor depth it’s not worth comparing atm.
Toa on 450...Old mate Kade reckons they are and Parra was chasing him too..
Ofcourse...Thier best players are non USA products . Ie. they’re yanks who learnt thier trade in other countries youth systems .
They’re also given opportunities much like Japanese players , above alternative countries because of the revenue they drive for clubs simply by being a USA player. And clubs wanting to tap into the USA market .
It’s really complex . Thier youth systems are. Bigger joke than ours .
Creamy?Yeah - dunno we have anyone that gets close to milky on his own…
