Stats are crap it all depends on which players are out and the length of time, also type of injury they return from. Tigers have had Bula, Doubie, May with shoulder injuries that require a reconstruction in the offseason, so they return not fully fit! Luai was out for 4 weeks, Api suspended 3 weeks. Then both our starting second rowers out for more than half the season.
Then compare that to the rest of the teams mentioned, most of their players are fringe first graders with a sprinkling of experienced players.
Look there is no excuse for the thrashings we have received in their absence. No heart is no heart. But don’t compare the loss of established first graders and spine players.

You reckon Ciraldo is doing a bang up job in the development of Burton, Haywood, Galvin and Tracey…
You could argue they’ve all gone backwards…
so much so that they’ve had their international centre playing 5/8 for them the last few weeks.

Let me ask you this,
If Galvin isn’t a 7 as you so boldly claim - why would any in demand young half commit his future to play (and develop?) under the organisation and coach that are trying to bluff the rest of the game into thinking he is one?

Well you did say that other teams had lost fringe first graders and when we played the Knights they had their 3 highest paid players out.

Latu and Andrews could both be the future for us here. Luai's obviously gone in 2028, but we can't be convinced Doueihi is a safe long-term option too. He was in great form and locked in til 29, but his future is always going to eb questionable with his injury history. We need to be in a position where we have 3 FG quality halves and worst case scenario, one or Latu or Doueihi is a great 14.
