Did you just watch them play ?Since 2010, the KOE magpies have made the semi finals twice.
Failure starts from the top.
The owners board is made up of:With almost 12 million at his disposal it is very underwhelming to put it nicely.
We have improved our roster ever so slightly and now have no money to improve it.
That does not sound successful to me.
If they were in charge of our recruitment or selecting our team, that would be a major concern. The owners board is made up of:
- singer songwriter
- glazer
- financial planner
- mining
- lawyer
- IT incident manager
- chartered accountant
dont come here with your little man judgement of one of the greatest NRL administrators in the game, when our board has absolutely no experience when it comes to rugby league operations.
ignoring the failure for 15 years but you want to focus on one win?Did you just watch them play ?
Maybe we need to start rethinking that we have no depth and start thinking about the lack of team balance, poor team selections and lack of quality from a few of our most highly paid players.
Lack of team balance which incorporates lack of speed is something that has built oil with our recruitment over the past 12-24 months and should have been indented long before now.
they appointed a rookie coach for 5 years didnt they?If they were in charge of our recruitment or selecting our team, that would be a major concern.
You brought uk the failures of our NSW Cup team, not me.ignoring the failure for 15 years but you want to focus on one win?
should we all just focus on round 2 vs the cowboys then?
you talk out your backside and everyone can see it
you make statements and cant even back them up when asked
im suprised you're not a politician
they arent doing well though, they have lost more than 50% of their games and sit outside finals contention. You brought uk the failures of our NSW Cup team, not me.
I merely lined out they are currently doing very well, so that has absolutely nothing to do with our NRL team imploding.
That is not something that can be made known on an unrelated public forum.they appointed a rookie coach for 5 years didnt they?
back to my question - what do you do at the insurance company? how many board meetings have you been a part of?
because you have no connection to the board. That is not something that can be made known on an unrelated public forum.
We currently have a much better NSW Cup team than clubs such as the Roosters, so it is not the main reason our NRL team has fallen in a hole midway through the season.they arent doing well though, they have lost more than 50% of their games and sit outside finals contention.
or do the goalposts shift when its the magpies?
We have less than 50% win rate in koe but because it's the magpies you compare them to the team below them in the competition and tell us how amazing they areWe currently have a much better NSW Cup team than clubs such as the Roosters, so it is not the main reason our NRL team has fallen in a hole midway through the season.
The same as it was last season, our highly paid players taking up the majority of our salary cap are clearly inferior to their equivalents at rival NRL clubs.
You may not like hearing it, but it is showing almost every week.

Have you not learned anything from supporting this team? 😂I got a bus and 2 trains to watch that lowlight of a performance.
I agree with you, and I said the same to my mate, we looked like wee werent trying
And those in charge before his tenure didn’t have a full salary cap to spend…With almost 12 million at his disposal it is very underwhelming to put it nicely.

He peddles his way out of more corners than Willie Pepthey appointed a rookie coach for 5 years didnt they?

Tbf it’s still a shithouse roster we have like 16 good players out of 30Was gonna say the same thing.
It’s literally the best roster we’ve had in recent memory….
This is correct, Luai is one of the worst contracts ever and we are paying nearly double his worth, didn’t Ivan only offer 700k to him? And before anyone says stuff about culture he helped it but then broke it with his selfish move to png Being announced mid yearWe currently have a much better NSW Cup team than clubs such as the Roosters, so it is not the main reason our NRL team has fallen in a hole midway through the season.

That along with failure to identity a reasonable team and roster balance are the reasons we are imploding into s rubble.
I would guess it was likely a HBG direction to Shaun Mielekamp.Vicious can you just tell me who was responsible for signing an unrpoven rookie coach for 5 years?
Just a direct answer with who it was.
