AD is a good footballer, but he is not a seven, maybe at a pinch a running six, but has defensive issues and seldom sets up his outside man. He has been one of our better players but I think it’s time for Andrew’s and Latu and find a new role for AD

I don't have an issue with moving Doueihi in principal, I just don't think you can chuck in a rookie halves pairing and expect anything. It needs to be one or the other with Doueihi I know he's not the the best defensivly but he also playing busted atm.
Doueihi and say Latu for 12 months and with Andrews getting a taste and then beyond that see how things pan out.

Doueihi is much better defensively in closer to the ruck where halves defend, rather than he is out wider defending as a centre.
When defending as a halve he has less missed tackles or missed assignments that have led to tries or conceded than what Luai has this season.

Said the same thing a few days back.
We’re short a prop - put Twal there and find a good lock option to give us something else than tackling from 13 also.

Twal would not be a run on prop for any of the other NRL club.
And those on here with their rose-coloured glasses have him as run on prop. And expect us to improve? Dreamworld!
He is a wholehearted workhorse, nothing more, doing a first-class job as our lock.

Stephen is a former Balmain player who became CEO of Wests Tigers and later Manly, and of course Kevin was a former Secretary of the Balmain Club and later CEO of the Australian Rugby League, who was convicted( along with others) of siphoning ARL funds for his own use. Received a suspended jail sentence but left the game in disgrace.

You'd assume Latu & Samuela extensions are confirmed soon. Manase a maybe. I'd also extend Skelton & Sukkar for next year for depth.

If we can land Blore & Humphreys I think we would be pretty well rounded with depth for next year just need another good middle & another up & comer young forward to complete the squad.
