He is a very smart man Adrian Lam, would make a great Coach, regardless of club.

It makes a lot of sense though, he has done everything he can in Super League, both with a big 'glamour' club (Wigan) and a small battler club (Leigh). He did well coaching in international football with the Kumuls. With the Chiefs not an option the Tigers are the perfect club for him to have a crack in the NRL, and he's a clean skin with no ties to the old boys network that has plagued the club. It's an open secret among Super League fans that he wants to move to the NRL.

to clarify, WT were looking into Cherry-Evans at the time as a Galvin swap and had enquired with his manager as to whether it would be possible. they were told that he had already agreed to join the Chooks and wished them the best.
as for the Lam stuff, well, that was a pisstake

I don't claim to have the best track record myself, I was wrong on Spencer Leniu for example, but I do trust them. Even if it doesn't fully eventuate there has to be some substance to it.

With some people wanting saying Sam wants to move to the middle, if we got Preston and put Sam in the middle we would have a far better pack

Yes he'd be worth looking into as an assistant to Benji but doubt that role would be attractive to him.
Going by Shaun Mielekamp's post in his thread this morning, it looks like Pat Richards is our main Football admin guy (although not at a GM level) so Lam can't be for that type of role.
Maybe a Director of Coaching overseeing whole-of-club would be his go.

Agree but he’s actually not a total “cleanskin”. About 20 years ago he was busted for releasing a porn video ( he shot himself on camcorder), with some young lady, who wasn’t his wife. It was sold in some sex shops around Sydney.
Anyway, there’s plenty of skeletons around if you know where to look !

I interpreted his comments differently, I think the point was the current trajectory of the club is a pisstake. A no nonsense figure like Adrian Lam would be a breath of fresh air, and it would make sense that HBG (curse their name) would be considering it.

Yeah that would be nice but that I imagine cap constraints wouldn't permit
I reckon there is probably a couple of players we could offload at full freight before their form continues to take a dive - perhaps even a player swap

I recommend you keep searching X ..the solution is there somewhere ,..hiding in plain sight ..
Or KPP to the middle.
If we had 3 high quality back riwers it would be a luxury we have never had before and just simply have one of them playing 13 when we are full strength.
