Watching how he went with St George this year …he looked as bereft of ideas as Benji does now ..they have improved out of sight since he has been moved on

Yeah, I don’t know how this happens. Unless HBG are engaging in criminal or corrupt behaviour, it’s none of the NRL’s business. There are no grounds for removing owners simply because the supporters don’t like them.

Agree in part, but you are nuts to think the licence will automatically remain with Tigers brand. Thats what people who think blow the joint up, and start with a new club & licence forget, it will not be a option in the forefront of any new franchise.

I said he did good things.
He also made a lot of statements, and promises that he didn’t follow through with. His retention of players was poor. He was the loudmouth that derailed last season with the Galvin BS. That could have all been dealt with behind closed doors.
He boasted about new signings that turned out to be women!
He also tucked his tail and scurried away when he was presented the first opportunity…under suspicion one of his gravy trains had been interrupted. He absolutely could have stayed on and fought for the club and chose not to.

Galvin didn’t kile Benji and it was over when he got there - much like when cleary arrived at tigers too late and couldn’t rescue moses, teddy and woods - the damage had been done and they were one foot out the door.

Richo was stuck with benji when he got. There and had to stick up for the coach. If Richo were still around now - benji wouldn’t have a $1m salary for 5 yrs ! And he would probably sack him.

Since he has left - we have no leadership - total reliance on benji - and extended all players for overs bc Jarome left and they panicked

It’s been a complete a dung pile since he left

Performances spiked when we signed respected figures in the game, Cleary, Richo & Jarome. We should be asking why they all left within 2 years.
