When he played wing, the day he scored 4 tries a couple of months ago against the Dogs he let in 2 or 3 but his inside man Fiohiva Siale Fainga'a set him up for all of his tries.

Well, I think he said he enjoyed six-a-side soccer on the SEN podcast so maybe CEO Mellencamp can find him a gig, given his round ball background.

That’s pretty much it in a nutshell , though may to me is just a bit tired of carrying the entire pack up the middle .. but yeah Bula cannot make a break at the moment, is not ever running to space from kicks, straight at the nearest defender and submits in the tackle. Turuva is out of form and out of position , the centres are terrible with may out, the wingers are turnstiles that cannot defend a kick and the second row do not run lines and always step in the direction the defence is coming from and never ever pass it to the outside runners .. we have had no penetration or line breaks outside the edges and the forwards got tired of dominating only to see the backs offfer NOTHING

So, what you are basically saying is that there is no game plan? Cos I have been wondering why we seem to avoid doing the things that gave us such magic moments. Like when Maka was on the wing and scored 3 tries from great halves play ... oops, from Madden & Javon! Oh dear! Luai has been terrible - not cos our forwards are weak but cos he is watching others do the work. He pulled his finger out on ONE occasion at LO when he scored 3 tries against the almost bottom-feeder Titans. That ought to have set alarm bells ringing. He should be the first player picked for Reggies this weekend.

The real problem if Benji is payed out in full ,is ,why .?
Where was the clause that after X years you get a % of the remainder .

With talk of Benji being sacked, I wonder how HE would feel if the club didn't sack him but demoted to assistant coach.

Would keep the playing group on board but could Benji's ego handle it.

If it's good enough for a coach to demote a player and ask that they still buy in let's put it back on Benji and see if he would do what's best for the Wests Tigers

The NRL will love this turmoil. It's outstanding for coverage and ratings. No other code can get a look in because there is always something happening at WTs. We should ask for a bigger slice of the NRL pie - any publicity is good publicity.

HBG might not be willing to sell up for financial reasons but if the guys running HBG get hammered enough in the media i think theyll do whatever they can to rid themselves of it so they stop making themselves look poor in the public eye. Theyre that egotistical.

Agree in part, but you are nuts to think the licence will automatically remain with Tigers brand. Thats what people who think blow the joint up, and start with a new club & licence forget, it will not be a option in the forefront of any new franchise.

HBG do NOT own the Wests Tigers name and trademark. The ARL owns that.

The NRL could strip the operating license and award a new license to a completely different consortium, allowing that new party to operate a team under the Wests Tigers name and logo.

Nothing is stable about the club atm and Benji has a win rate of like 30%

It’s only the supporters who advocated for Luai to be signed, Bula, Terrell and Turuva be re-signed at whatever cost and now know they are terrible judges of player talent in way of value for contract dollar, that now think their opinions couldn’t possibly be wrong, so now looking at something else to blame.

Excuse me. These extensions were done with board approval no? Seems like all the issues you have are the decisions made under full HBG control. Perhaps time to lay blame where it belongs rather than play out your personal biases here.
