Such a Benji thing to do. Demote Attard for the past month, play Mason as reserve grade fullback, then pick Attard from nowhere to play first grade. If this happens, it shows Benji cant see past the top 17 each week and has zero planning or thought for the future. He just goes week to week with whatever he feels. Im guessing the entire club is filled with players who are just plain confused.

Roosters have shed plenty of big names the last few years, possibly more than Panthers.

After this season Nawaqanitawase, Crichton, Watson leave. They've only added Garrick. Should have heaps of cap space depending how much they've spent upgrading others.
Rep players that have left the Roosters the last 3 years include; Smith, Manu, Keary, Waerea-Hargreaves, Sua'ali'i, Tupouniua, Young. Lost a few other lesser players also.

We all know why Smith was moved on.

It will be interesting what Billy does. No doubt Storm want him but Billy currently has a very successful Horse Stud operation, has a gig with Racing Victoria (i think he is still involved) & his media gig. Not to mention his Qld origin role. But we know he is passionate about the Storm.

There is no certainty that Billy Slater will be a successful club coach.
In his favour he will have all the money and resources he needs if he takes either the Melbourne or Brisbane job, he is obviously a great communicator and demands excellence, but his arrogance and ego could be a problem as a club coach.

Your not wrong regarding resources they have. If Frank Ponisi stays that would be huge for any future Storm coach as well. He puts out any spot fires. We should’ve made Frank or Peter Parr offers they couldn’t refuse to be our GM of football.
