Damn Ezra is really not popular hahaThe bad news keeps coming
But can he play football? As long as he brings Mariner with him it immediately brings that x factor we lack.Damn Ezra is really not popular haha
On radio this morning, apparently Young and Martin are both going to 1 Nov looking to achieve a $1m pa asking contract. That figure needs to be weighed up against the prospective increase in the salary cap and also the entry of the Chiefs into the competition and to a lesser extent Perth. Martin also turns 30 in March next year.
I should add my thoughts - Martin is a tough forward and plays the game hard. He is not overly big for a forward so his impressive career has imo taken its toll on his body. So if it is tough you want, Martin is your man. Young imo is a more skillful player and besides being hard without the tough man label, he brings a football brain to your team. I'd make a big offer to Young.

All held in high regard and recently extended.Saints have
Loko Jr
Ryan Coachman
Toby Coachman
Hamish Stewart
Daniel Egan
One misses out when you add KK
Hopefully he sees there won’t be less but more media spotlight here. a new low if we sign himThat’s what I mean, with his severe off field issues he’s almost a certainty to be leaving and I believe he would want a Sydney club with less media spotlight.

Egan and Stewart are both from Gerringong and from what I'm told, are close. All the youngsters are local except Tonga. All held in high regard and recently extended.
Daniel Egan would be the one pushed out perhaps.
Our next half [Andrews] is about the same size as our current half [Doueihi]His mother did warn us. Great to be putting all our stock into a half that can barely ever get on the field. Good times ahead.
As much as he is a ball-hog, he has scored some remarkable solo-effort tries. He was never a ball-playing half and if he is to stay with us, Benji needs to sit him in front of a Telly and play the ball-hog reel back to him on loop during his entire recovery program.
Both Martin and Young are light years ahead of current San Fainu who, according to reports, is asking more than them.On radio this morning, apparently Young and Martin are both going to 1 Nov looking to achieve a $1m pa asking contract. Just for laughs, I think Shane Sultana fits the bill.No offence but that's a deadly-thin list, almost a gulf after the name Brad Arthur.
Just for laughs I'd like us to sign Matt Ballin again and then he never actually gets around to coaching a single match for reasons.
This was worse than the Galvin mess. Galvin wanted out from the start and told all and sundry. Mr marguee man touted how he was here for the long haul and everyone should join him - then he gives an up yours to his team, teammates and fans. If i was player and had bought in to Benjis vision and Luais BS i would be pretty peeved off especially when Luais is still the first guy picked each Tuesday.Maybe that’s true, but it’s a ridiculous crutch. Same claim was made last year about Galvin. No player walking out mid season, or signing elsewhere justifies the entire squad packing it in for the rest of the season.
Yes, and a professional club would learn from their mistakes. We never do.A mistake ? Probably .
They make mistakes often …
Are you aware Saukuru was part of the Top 30 since at least 2023 from memory … made his debut last week …
Why is it that you blame every poor decision on the board. By your perspective the whole football dept including coaches and support staff should be sacked and just let the board have total control over the shit show.Absolute basketcase. How much is the board interfering with decisions like this?

So a Club like the Tigers, which doesn't have much media spotlight, would suit, eh?That’s what I mean, with his severe off field issues he’s almost a certainty to be leaving and I believe he would want a Sydney club with less media spotlight.
