Mate Josh Reynolds walked away from his contract with honour because he knew he didnt deliver. He could have easily made us pay him. On field he wasnt a success, but it was feom lack of trying or lack of integrity. No way he took the piss

Tedesco may have taken less money to go to Easts, but you're kidding yourself if you don't think there weren't other inducements that the NRL don't know about. There is no way Easts have been able to stack their roster the way they have over the years and remained under the cap without outside help.

Wasting years of promise at this club was probably also a big motivator. As much as I hate them for leaving, their decisions were vindicated. Woods went on to play finals at Cronulla three years in a row, Moses has played in several finals series and made a GF, and Tedesco won two rings at Easts. Even Brooks has played a finals series at Manly.

They probably took a look at Rowdy and thought "nope, not letting that happen to me."

I agree, thats why I put "less" in inverted commas. I agree with the rest of it too, which is why i said money wasnt a factor in them leaving.

Good question, you’d think a first grade league player would know how to defend properly, but as we’ve seen many times over that’s just not the case. Hence, we have defensive coaches!

We have a defensive coach named Benji.

He's very defensive of our players at post match pressers.

The PNG effect - every player using them to drive up their value. Clubs will either have to stand firm or risk losing some of them targeted by PNG. The more PNG recruit the more their appeal to those who were unsure about whether they would be competitive. The money the icing on the cake.

What is the deal with the Chiefs?

Once they sign 30 what else have they got for back up?

Will they have a reserve grade side, will the Hunters be their feeder club?

Haven't seen anything about those arrangements, pretty sure someone on here will know.

If he is so overworked how come he has so much time for ball playing .......

Also what's with the Aaron woulds back into the line.

Yes he plays to many minutes but his huge drop off in form seemed to have pinned up with when he signed the big fat contract extension......

The fans are the only ones who don't get a return on their investment when the players phone it in as they have been for 2 thirds of the season.

Club, coaching staff and players all get paid regardless of the results..... To many hugs, smiles and cuddles with the opposition after losses I indicates where their mindsets are at.....
