The Kurt Mann of a season or 2 back would have been absolutely perfect, not sure if he will be capable of playing anywhere near his best due to his age in 2027.
I think most Wests Tigers supporters agree we ideally need Twal back playing prop and need to find a good 13.

What do you think of Burton at 13?

If Salmon can play a role as an NRL 13 then I think Burton can. Be nice to have his long boot as well to take pressure off our 7, whoever that may be.
Im bringing Api off the bench next year for that sharp impact around the ruck and to take some load off him

No doubt that Matt Burton has the game, the size, strength, speed and skill to be an exceptionally good 13 if he wanted to, but similar to Doueihi, I get the feeling he would not be open to it.

I would swap AD for Burton. I don't know why players who have the size wouldnt want to a ball playing lock.

I think you're confused with Luai. Our worst player for the past month, if not all season.
He thoroughly deserves the humiliation of being dropped to the bench. Injury may rob us of that brief moment of joy in a crap season

We never improve because were stupid and allow ourselves to get conned into massivley over paying players. Like Luai. We paid him 1.2 million a year. He didnt make much difference on the pitch. Our attack and defence for at leat half the year is nonexistant. Its on all the players, but mostly on him cause hes the highest paid.

We desperately need middles, we have may, twal and Pole, we have very little depth in the middles department, 2-3 minimum we need to sign over the break

I actually agree with that take. He should take a good part of the blame for being highest paid, captain and a key position. Scapegoating him however doesn't solve anything. I don't think the booing would have helped nor the constant media attention that is not driven by him solely like people like to make out

That is exactly the problem.
In saying that we do have the option of starting with a bigger body such as Twal at 13 and interchanging with a much more attack minded 13 after roughly 20mins.
IF Doueihi was genuinely prepared to give playing at 13 his best shot, I would start him off the bench, bring him on at the 20 minute mark and then assess how is is going after 60mins to determine if he plays until the 80 minute mark, or if he needs tj be replaced around the 60 minute mark.
If it is not Doueihi who is willing and able to be our attack minded 13, we will need to find someone else who can.

Gee that sounds like we are moving on some rubbish to replace it with more of the same , we should be look8ng for another 2 nrl quality and some back up , Alverillo is solid nrl , Brailey is back up off the bench for Hooker and lock maybe , that is not enough unless Hunt and Bunty are staying but no word on that yet , also need a Backrower bigger stronger than Seyfarth , we should be all,over the warriors players , if we go train and trial players we are in big trouble going forward , Seb Kris is just nrl and if he is out gee we going deep into the bucket for scraps again , club just can’t keep doing this our reserves are mostly bog average we need some quality
