What if the knights have cap problems with Brown & Ponga already there and upgrades needed for a few guys who are exceeding the $ they are currently on .

You may be right. That could happen down the track but it won't happen for 27. They've also got Schiller, Mat Arthur and Kepoa in their squad. They'll move them on before Smith. On another note via Barry Toohey looks like Frizell is leaving, so maybe he's signing with the Tigers.

It’s all quite on the western front with AD. Surely if he was going there would have been some news by now. I just don’t see a role for him in our 17. He is not a seven, not a six, not a 13, not a centre and not a back three. Okay he can probably play all those positions but not excel. At some clubs he may be just what they need but for us it’s time to move on

Surely you don't sign a player rehabing from surgery. Let his current club pay for that. Get him after Christmas.
