It’s not a simply yes or no though . Because if I say yes you’re going to carry on about you being right, and me being full of shit , and if I say no you’re going to accuse me of being dishonest . It’s a loaded question designed to reframe everything in a binary answer to validate yourself .
I’ll say it one more time - he had good individual performances . The team didn’t perform well , the structures were shit in attack and sloppy /disjointed . I thought our edges were starved of good ball . In all those games . But did he play well . By what metric ? Because often I would see him go alone and score and everyone sing his praises … when the easy option was to give the ball on , draw and pass and stroll over .
Thats what I see . he’s not a very good half , but a good footy player.

He is No where near a First grader hence why he hasnt been backed. I keep hearing Madden on this Forum if he is our first choice half we are an absolute joke. Hes kicking game reaches the height and length of an U/10s game

You cant be serious. Madden is one of our better players. Were in massive trouble for this to be even quietly thought of in ones head , let alone said out load. Madden should not be playing FG unless we have an injured riddled season in that area. He does give his all that i agree with but hes just not at that level in every other parts of the game.

It’s a real shame if he could figure out to hit the ball consistently in the middle his overall game would improve astronomically. Man at times does he lack power. And it really hurts the team. It means the team can get trapped on our own line

Richmond is a great club, and I think they’ll kick hard into 2027. They have so many outstanding juniors.

Unfortunately, the Swans let themselves down this year with the “party before the performance” attitude.

A couple of mates of mine reckon it was actually a honey trap, and they got caught out with the early celebrations.
