I'm on your line of thinking BD. Think that experienced back-up centre/wing could be Seb Kris or Isaiah Tass.

Tass would probably be subsidised a bit by the Rabbits (as they have given him permission to explore so they can free up some cap) so he could be a Madden-like money ball option.

Our backup experienced centre wing is Herbert. If we want to sign Kris or Tass we have to release Herbert first. We were stupid enough to give him a 2 year deal for some reason. There's no room for multiple old experienced players with limited talent in a top 30 that's struggling for quality.

You cant be serious. Madden is one of our better players. Were in massive trouble for this to be even quietly thought of in ones head , let alone said out load. Madden should not be playing FG unless we have an injured riddled season in that area. He does give his all that i agree with but hes just not at that level in every other parts of the game.

Given more matches under his belt and with the integrity he shows for the game when he's on - he just always seems switched on as opposed to some others that are on the field and the team looks better when he's there somehow.
However I do agree regarding his kicking, but he's not the worst at that either.

I used to think the same but not anymore. I couldn’t give a rats anymore if a player we sign doesn’t shout out how much he loves the club. If we could get anyone that helps us win I couldn’t care less what they do & don’t love. Smash & grab style players work for some clubs. No emotional attachment, get paid, win games thats it. Frizell would be one that could help. No emotional attachment, no bs talk, just business.

Rather naively, I am clinging to the hope that Luai leaving is a sign the tigers are turning the corner from being doormats, and that AD will be made an example of.

This standard (ugh... There's that word again....) is one of the (many) things that holds the club back from being successful while others thrive.

I would honestly pay half the guy's salary to move him on - I really think it would help that much.

But as I said...I do think it is naivety on my part unfortunately.

I’d like to see the Walker Brothers get a crack at NRL, I’m not sure we are that club, as I don’t think we need an experiment and they would probably need a stable club that could wear the lows.
