Don't think the club really needs a psychopath swearing at the players ever time they play poorly. Though it would be a complete contrast to Benji being everyone's mate

Logistics are not a huge hurdle. Pvl has generated lots of money and is buying hotels and planes. That’s why I think the 2 conferences work . You play your conference twice , and then the other conference, whether it be 24 games that you play 6 of the ten 1 season then the other 4 plus 2 the next , then the other 6. So every 3 years you play each team in the opposite conference twice .
Siro says it’s a shit idea , but if you think about it’s not really .
You could have a conference of 2xNZ teams , Melbourne , st merge , Canberra , Cronulla, souths , roosters ,manly , .
And another of Wests, Eels, panthers , dogs,Perth/ norths ,Brisbane, dolphins , titans , cowboys , chiefs .
It’s stops NZ and Perth having to travel to each other twice a year , some yewrs not even playing each other . It’s a very long way .
Teams can do the far north qld travel away , so PNG , and NQ in b2b weeks and be smart with logistics . Because that’s ultimately what sank the reds .
Also by keeping the wests Sydney teams together you maintain their rivalries because let’s face it , as much as the traditionalists want to talk about the roosters and souths … we don’t really have much of a rivalry with them . The 4 east Sydney and manly all have real rivalries with each other, and so does Newcastle with manly .
I think you could swap Newcastle and Perth to make it fair for travel or not . But yea .
I genuinely think that’s the future of the game . Logistics are a huge issue as we expand .
Perth and PNG running costs will be astronomical compared to Sydney teams .
madge did better then any coach since Sheens 1st stint , reading out of the psychopaths hand book, what could go wrong.Don't think the club really needs a psychopath swearing at the players ever time they play poorly. Though it would be a complete contrast to Benji being everyone's mate
your probably best of try to convince PVL he is not the oz version of the felon rapist donaldLogistics are not a huge hurdle. Pvl has generated lots of money and is buying hotels and planes.
If we are playing the Dogs, Penrith Parra Souths and manly every 2 weeks it just dilutes the rivalries. Decreases value. Too much repetition and everyone gets bored.
We are not America.
Did he play at the Dragons when Benji was there ?Don't think the club really needs a psychopath swearing at the players ever time they play poorly. Though it would be a complete contrast to Benji being everyone's mate

Why ?
Not good reading it doesn’t state anything but where he has coached ! What are you talking about ??🤦🏻♂️
Still prob better win % than benjiDid you read the comments? I found them mostly quite negative towards his result and his approach and temper. Some gave his some slack due to a poor roster, but most of it was bad IMO
I will. It’s a shit idea.I never said its a shit idea.
The first thing you point to in him getting it back on track are the 6 agains?Geez PVL gets a bad rap. Sorry mods, but the game was on its knees during COVID. The NRL came up with the 6 again, its a bit annoying some of the calls, but the games is so much faster, created NRL W, has generated record crowds and ratings, got thw biggest TV deal ever, not sure what else he can do? Best administrator ever in my books
Seems to work for Bellamy for close to 25 yearsDon't think the club really needs a psychopath swearing at the players ever time they play poorly. Though it would be a complete contrast to Benji being everyone's mate
To be fair when your livelihood is on the line because players aren’t putting in would be hard to take emotionally. Carrying the load of a coach would be extremely tough especially when your team is losing. There’s no word on him being like that when being assistant.Don't think the club really needs a psychopath swearing at the players ever time they play poorly. Would be also interesting of what would happen to the player market as one conference significantly travels lessLogistics are not a huge hurdle. Pvl has generated lots of money and is buying hotels and planes.

To think the NRL may assist ESL financially is a reflection of the turnaround in the fortunes of the product under Peter V'landys. He deserves praise for this definitely. Rugby league is entertainment these days so we have to adjust to the product. If the game can become a truly national and also international game (in the UK especially), Peter V'landys will be remembered as one of the great leaders of the NRL.Geez PVL gets a bad rap. We could aim for mediocrity by making the bottom 8. Seriously, it is a wake up call that the club must significantly increase resourcing to our juniors. The grass roots is where it counts in this expanded competition and we need to make the most of our advantage - large junior districts.Any comp where 50% of the teams make the finals rewards mediocrity. If they get it out to a 20 team comp it should still stay as a top 8. PVL just trying to wring some more broadcasting cash out of the game.
