Suspected broken jaw for Api. Horrible end to his RLWC.

What a dickhead.
Makes sense and probably means Addo-Carr is 100% sackedDAILY TELE: EELS FILL FOX HOLE
Parramatta have been locked in talks to sign former Canberra and Newcastle winger James Schiller as they continue to strengthen their squad and prepare for the expected departure of Josh Addo-Carr.
Schiller had another year remaining on his deal with the Knights, but was given permission to explore his options and it is understood he has been snapped up by the Eels as they look to add some depth and quality to their backline for next season.
The 25-year-old only made one appearance for the high-flying Knights last season after struggling to force his way into a side that went all the way to the grand final.
He made 17 appearances the previous season after joining Newcastle from Canberra.
The Eels are expected to be one of the off-season’s big players, having already made their mark by signing Samoan superstar Jarome Luai and Sydney Roosters enforcer Spencer Leniu.
They have also been tipped to have a big swing at Newcastle centre Bradman Best, who has a big-money deal on the table from the Knights which he is yet to accept.
Best is expected to head to market and Parramatta are frontrunners for his signature. Addo-Carr recently entered a rehab centre after failing a roadside drug test.
He is expected to be sacked by the Eels and faces a 12-match ban from the NRL if he lands at another club.
Complete amateur hour from the club isn’t it where the communication is a disgrace and there’s just rank unprofessionalism throughout the joint. The girls have liked comments on Instagram of their family ripping into the club basically confirming it. The post has since been deleted. Just a shit show all round.
Ha ha haLazy..no mongrel
No suprise back to our old waysComplete amateur hour from the club isn’t it where the communication is a disgrace and there’s just rank unprofessionalism throughout the joint.
What’s this about ? What post was it ??Whoever is responsible for that cock up should be sacked, I thought these amateur hour acts were over, but it still looks like we have a few gecko heads that need to be shewed out of the building.
Tureva was a great finisher last season..exceeded expetation when confronted by difficult situations and still crossed the lineTo be fair to Turuva he massively exceeded my expectations of him when playing at centre early in the season. Overall though I tend to agree he wasnt great. Not sure if underwhelming is the word id use as I've been on the overpaid and overrated opinion since he was signed, so didn't expect much more than he produced. I copped it for labelling him as such early days. Nice to see some others agreeing.
He does his best and tries hard with his yardage carries, but he simply doesn’t have the right physical attributes to be an elite player.Tureva was a great finisher last season..exceeded expetation when confronted by difficult situations and still crossed the line
Not so great this year, but played a lot at FB and centre..and carrying injuries
Great clubman and character
Asset to the team
Definitely wld not write him off
This is a forum for everyone to post their opinions, it seems that if you don’t agree with their opinion you think it’s ok to start calling them names. You still going ? Is your existence that fragile … ? How many times do you wanna repeat yourself ? I’m right you’re wrong . Deal with it .
I agree. His defence is suspect and often goes very low but cannot hang on to the attacker. Good out of yardage and good finisher close to the line. If Schiller is not an option now, gee I hope we are still in talks with Seb Kris on a subsidised contract. Only option I think that is possible for '27 with decent experience on that right side.He does his best and tries hard with his yardage carries, but he simply doesn’t have the right physical attributes to be an elite player.
He is short, not a good vertical leaper, not overly confident in the air, not real quick off the mark, not quick over a long distance and very rarely makes a line break.
To make matters worse it looks like we are again content to just hand him an NRL jersey every week and not sign any genuine competition for his right wing spot.
Mark us down to once again be the most boring and predictable team and score the least points in the NRL in 2027.
What a shameLooks like Eels are going to sign James Schiller, not us.
Tim Sheens Legacy decision, same as his decision to let Andrew Fifita go to make room for Matt Groat , Fifita played origin the next year , his first at Cronulla and didn’t want to go anywhereYep technically Saukuru too
Took us years to get out of
Hayward ?I wasn't impressed with Hayward when he came on to replace Api in the Fiji game. Defended well but very stocky and NO ZIP from Dummy half. I expected more from what has been posted on here.
IMO didn't look like the next best hooker to be anointed for WT. Fingers crossed I got it wrong BUT?
What I did like is the fitness level of Manase Fainu in the photo with Latu. I see ZIP there.
And appears to have some fire in the belly to get it done with his brothers. Fingers crossed there.
I don’t think Seb Kris is an option for us because I reckon he would be wanting 400k per season and he would not be content unless he is a guaranteed starter.I agree. 3/4 of the forum should be booked in IMOAre you still holding a torch for Fatrell, mate, beginning to think you should book yourself in for some shock therapy.
