Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Went to a charity do yesterday morning where a few prominent footy folk were in attendance.
Was told Packer to the Tigers was all but done
If true , have mixed feelings on this one

I think this would be great for our club… Finally some big boys up front and this will only entice other players to come aboard..

Full trust in the Coach..

Really hope we do get Packer. Much needed size and mongrel added to the forward pack.

I reckon we could get SKD… over the line... by the end of the week...

I got it geo, though it appears no one else did

Thanks ricksen…thought I was losing a bit of touch..

I used to think the same thing after we signed Matt Seers, wasn't sure of his consistency but he sure knew how to find the white line.

Unfortunately that ended up being the sideline more often than the try line.

Moley with the scoop I posted 3-4 weeks ago.

Don't feel bad, Moley appears to have a new role with WWOS and compelled to rip off other people's scoops to keep his material up.

We're short on props and I'll be very happy if we get him. He will bring extra toughness to the forward pack and I think he and Matulino will form a formidable combination.

MY son is friends with hiku, he ask how would u go playing with packer at the tigers, he sent back a text saying we will have to see how we get on together, sounds like it might be a done deal for both.

5Tigers not finished shopping yet
Still at the Tigers, watch for Ivan Cleary to make a play for Manly prop Brenton Lawrence.

The in-form Sea Eagles forward is contracted until the end of 2018, but Cleary is considering offering Lawrence a contract through until 2020.

Yeah… subtlety doesn't work for you, right?

Lets just sign all 200 odd players not contracted and half the rest who are contracted and be done with it..

Lawrence is still in good form, but he is 32, 33 in december, so a 3 year deal would have to be for not much money
