Still at the Tigers, watch for Ivan Cleary to make a play for Manly prop Brenton Lawrence.

The in-form Sea Eagles forward is contracted until the end of 2018, but Cleary is considering offering Lawrence a contract through until 2020.

Lawrence is still in good form, but he is 32, 33 in december, so a 3 year deal would have to be for not much money

Hed be good for two years…

If we had packer matulino and him for two years showing jj twal and tatula ? the ropes wel be in good stead.

Do the tigers have good young backrows, I know we have Bayley Siro and Marsters but do they have any aggression and line breaking ability.Which I think we need,we have workers but no aggression and line breaking ability in the backrow as it stands.

Went to a charity do yesterday morning where a few prominent footy folk were in attendance.
Was told Packer to the Tigers was all but done
If true , have mixed feelings on this one

Marsters is one of the best backrower prospects we've had as a joint venture imo. He was breaking the line and scoring tries at a very high rate in the 20s. He has boat loads of potential, with a similar play style and potential to that of Josh Papalii. However, he's dropped off a little in the ISP this year. It looks like he just needs a little bit of coaching and motivation which Cleary could deliver. Would love to see how he goes in first grade.

Bayley Sironen is overrated to no end. He's no better than his brother. He won't be staying at the Tigers, there is some bad blood from last year and will most likely move on next year. However, the bad blood came from Taylor so things may have changed but i highly highly doubt it. He's also arrogant and has a poor attitude.

The Dragons have front rowers to cover Packer. AhMau, Vaughn, Sims, Mose and De Belin plays in the middle. Dugan should be more vital to them as they have no cover at fullback with Nightingale on his last legs. Playing under Cleary and plenty of cash should cover.

Its 50/50\. It all depends on dugan. If dugan stays we get him. If he doesnt hel stay i bet.

I have zero idea what he will do all I know is that he has a good offer and I'll be notified if he does sign. I'd be pretty confident he will sign though unless he gets this overwhelming feeling of repaying dragons for giving him a chance
