So have i but i was hoping Ivan wouldnt be chasing old age pensioners well past their best

Yeah I agree, wouldn't have minded him about 3 or 4 years ago, but not now.

He is 30 now and will be 31 by the start of next season. He is well off the pace this year hope it is just an incorrect rumour we need better than him

His been at dogs since 2011 maybe a change of scenery would do him good. Hopefully helps our defense

Not a big fan of it but dogs would be paying a portion of his contract which is only one season left.
With Kelly Egan, don't be surprised if we get more bulldogs down the track same as cleary and his links to his former clubs.

Tom Sangster said the same in the Supercoach countdown show on Thursday . I ignored it because Sanga is hardly the source of transfer info …

I read somewhere else ( can't find it now ) that the Bulldogs would be paying 100k of his 450k contract .

I'm ok with Eastwood he's not a world beater or getting any younger, but he's a big body and as long as he doesn't kick and the dogs pick up some slack why not.

I've got a feeling Eastwood will be used as a bench player for impact. Perhaps in the prop rotation with Sue or to relieve McQueen and Lawrence.

Not an Eastwood fan, but given he's got one year left and that one year will be at least somewhat subsidised, I can live with it. Rather him than Joel Edwards.

Posted this a week ago that Dogs offered to pay 100k but didn't think we would bite. Same source that gave me the mail before it became known that Woods was done at the Dogs. If it's 350k you can't really complain he is solid but form has slipped this year and he is 31 next year.
Our NZ contingent is growing rapidly.
