Dogs are apparently chasing the signature of Alex Johnston from Souths .. might have to tear up his temporary bus ticket .. !! Not real happy if we end up with the old crock Morris boys .. !!
 
Brenton Lawrence is free to chase offers, Manly won't stand in his way .. time for the Capt of the Coach (bus) to offer him a ticket right now.

Both under contract, the dogs would have to stump up them pairs contracts.

Thats the problem with the Tigers. 3 years ago or 5 years ago, we wouldn't have been a chance of signing them anyway…we generally pick up the busted's.

Matulino's knees are touch and go, mind you. Hopefully it's not an issue, but apparently the reason Newcastle didn't submit a formal offer was because of his knees.

That's the only way I'd be happy about it. Yes, better than what we have, but overpaid and underperform for their size apart from a couple of games a year.
 
Stuff tge bulldogs. There up shit creek because they have about 10-11 mill on the books and need to get rid of players. The nrl is not accepting new contracts from them until they get rid of players. Elliott can be signed up by us if we move quickly.

was odds-on a few weeks ago… but not sure what effect Latrell's promotion back into the top grade has on this.. Roosters will have to shed some players but its not basement sale time with the cap rising $1.5-$2 million. SKD (gone).. Geurra (Knights) .. Gordon (retire/Souths) Ferguson... (they'd love to punt him but there's no buyer).. Watson (dunno)

Why would you want him?.. Apart from his off field behaviour, adam elliot or chnare way better propositions than him.
