@ said:I'm not sold on Watson. Any young half would look good in the Roosters side. Hastings looked good a couple years ago, now he's languishing in reserve grade at Manly.

Great! Fingers crossed.
@ said:@ said:first time in forever i was able to watch every single game in a round and these young guys really impressed me:
joseph tapine
ryan matterson
jordan kahu
adam elliott
angus crichton
i'd be happy with any of these signings
I really don't see what people see in Kahu. To me he's slow, hesitant, prone to a bungle, quite ineffective in early tackles. We already have Nofo on one wing, if we were going to buy a winger/fullback cover I'd want him to be fast as possible, I don't want plodders on both sides.
Yes he starts for the Broncos but Broncos always field these types of players to balance out the salary cap, cheaper backline options. It's the same reason why blokes like Lachlan Maranta and Steve Michaels have put on a Broncos jersey.

Agree completely. I don't want Kahu at the club, likewise Gordon.

I don't mean to be the one to do this but Edwards was never leaving Penrith…
