Somehow i don't think the world would crumble if the deal were to fall through. Good player, but a dime a dozen type.
 
We need Milne and Rona. Thompson and Fonua are depth signings Milne and Rona will be starters with Suli, Nofa in the outside backs. It would be great to get Watson as we would have cover for half and fullback.
We badly need another prop and second rower of high quality and we will be set.

I think you'll see some more signings when the salary cap fire sales start later on.

Exactly. Thomson and Fonua are very useful additions to the club but they're moreso replacements for Kev and Rankin than guaranteed starters. Milne and Rona would be probable starters, Rona particularly due to his size, speed and finishing ability.

They will have to release some contracted players because they are well over the forecast cap and don't have a full squad of 30 signed either.
 
He's signed on a second tier contract as well, he looked so promising hope he gets some first grade into him at NZ.

Poor bloke. Had he stayed here, he and Liddle would have been sharing the position in first grade.
