Unless Manly are willing to give up either of the Turbos I wouldn't touch them, let them sink.

That's what we said about the Bulldogs, and they swapped a reserve grader for another reserve grader and fixed everything. I hear you though, there's no one at Manly who I particularly want to see in Tigers colours. Except the Turbos but that won't happen.

I wouldn't even want Taupau back, he was never the right fit and would be even worse a fit now.

Yeah the Canterbury saga went to ground really quickly. They moved on Graham and that's about it.

He is lazy. As eceidenced by a video someone posted earlier in the year of a game against the Dragons. Saints made a break and he was the last one to get back in line, despite being the freshest player on the field, having only come back on the field a minute earlier.

Way to build an argument GNR.One incident out of how many career games, defines a player. Yeh right.

Watched him play v Brisbane back in 2015

He was continually one of the last players back after the 15 minute mark

Yes I understand he's not Usain Bolt , but he needs to work harder

Not sure what the concern is , he's not our problem or issue anymore

A critical statement about anything/anyone will usually get a response. Its not a concern just a discussion as far as I can see - and it seems that there is still some interest in giving it to Woods.

Yeah true , I'm just saying that some on here (not yourself) argue that Woods is a SOO player , well in certain positions that doesn't necessarily make him a Top 10 player in his position when you take in the quality Kiwis and Poms in the same position

After the World Cup finals performance I'm sure the Dogs are spewing they let James Graham go to sign Aaron Woods in my opinion , Graham was massive for England

I think McQueen could be the sleeper amongst the new lot. He's the forgotten man.

I'd be surprised if he plays 10 games. Heir to the honourable Tigers role of past it pro signed to keep the rehab guys busy so recently vacated by Matt "good club man" Ballin.

Tim Grant saying that while he would like to return to Penrith he remains fully committed to us for the coming season.

GOOD RIDENCE.

We would need to replace him. Who can we sign?

We dont need to replace him. We have plenty of depth in the forwards. Despite saying he is committed to the club i dont believe him. He was looking to get out during the 2017 season and only took up the 1yr deal that was in his! Favour because no one wanted him. He picked up his form towards the back end of the year because he wanted a better deal from another club. I think he is sly. We finished getting rid of all the poor attitudes.. its become apparent that their is still 1 more to go.

We would need to replace him as you cant have too much depth in the engine room.I would be happy to see him go but only if we have a replacement at his or better level.

If Sue doesn't have a big 2018 he might be at the stop waiting for a connecting bus

I think his Opal has expired

Towards the end of the year, Cleary was utilising Sue and Josh A in such a way as to benefit the team most. Sue is an impact player best used in short bursts while Josh's power running game has been a revelation and it is lucky we have him under contract.

I agree.
I saw things the same way in the last 6-7 rounds.

Maybe not , we have a lot of talent coming through in the engine room , maybe use those bucks to upgrade our back row

From the The Mole …...
The Bulldogs are considering medically retiring Greg Eastwood after the Kiwi international forward underwent surgery for an irregular heartbeat last week.
The club is desperately trying to free up money in the salary cap to sign a halfback and question marks over Eastwood’s future see his career in doubt. The 30-year-old’s body has caused him problems in recent seasons - even before the heart problems a chronic knee injury saw him play just 33 games in the last two seasons. The Bulldogs’ new coach Dean Pay has decided to move halfback Moses Mbye to fullback next season, leaving him short of a number seven for the new season.
Eastwood will be on around $800,000 next season but if he is medically retired, he will get his money - but not out of the salary cap. That $800,000 will give the Bulldogs plenty of ammunition to find a halves partner for new signing Kieran Foran.

Now thats dodgy.
How conveniant that a player thats been backloaded to the hilt and out of form gets a heart condition.
You'd think the insurance investigators would be all over this.

Where are the bulldogs going to find a halfback that quickly??

More then that Eastwood could still be playing for 2 more years. Ok maybe on $200K tops but he could still be on the field. Huge backending for a player.

Grant is on the way out given his comments. Would replace Latu who was just released. That’s good news for us I believe his option was 300k. If reports are to believed that would mean two seats on the bus 1m+ in cap room.
