What about Gideon Gela-Mosby he is VERY fast and has pretty good has, only problem would be defence as he has the same frame as Addo-Carr

We should go for V Kikau/Taukeiaho and RTS/J Roberts/K Maumalo/A Uate - That would equate to about $1 million and if it is less then we can front load for 2019!

I’m not concerned about Suli’s defection to the dogs, I don’t think the boom placed on him was justified on what he showed in 1st grade -commentators waxed lyrical every time he touched the ball, based on the size of contract we gave him, mainly due to high interest from rival clubs at the time. If he was worth pursuing the Storm would have had another crack at him, having come close to securing him last time.

Personally, I think we should sign two minimum wage players for the rest of this season, then try to sign either RTS or Mansour depending on how Tui goes at fullback

We can either;
a) Buy a $1m player for 2018, either now or mid year, OR
b) Wait and see if someone comes available (now or mid year), but if they don't then all good, for then we can front end existing contracts, meaning for 2019 we could have room for 2 $1m players.
I know we don't want superstars, we want a team playing for each other. But when we start to get that, we can slot the superstars in (Cleary Jr) and all would be well.
