Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Another wasted talent, Norman and not what the new culture at WT should be entertaining.

Canberra would be the likely suitor given they seem to have an abundant of forwards which Parramatta need.

The only Parramatta players I would consider would be Gutherson and Brown.

x2

Marsters should be a priority re-signing.
Felise, Godinet, Marshall, Garner, MWZ, Sironen, Siolo, Drinkwater, Tali and Heleta ….... all deserve extensions.
I think possible trade for Sue, Grant, Nofa and (release) McIlwrick and Naiqama .....may be the way to go.
Not sure about our development players ..... but it seems our junior squads are not performing too well ...... so cant5 really comment.

Anyone feel like we should try get TMM back, with talk about Carney going too Cowboys I don't see him playing a role in that squad anymore.

There was talk we wanted him last year but Cowboys got him, can take over the utiltity role next year with Benji possibly gone.

Perhaps could transfer him into a fullback….. he kicks goals doesn't he?

Thoughts

Where would that leave Tyson Gamble…?

We need a genuine centre go and buy a genuine centre..

I like Gamble but he hasn't played a second of first grade how have players like Drinkwater and Littlejohn gone in ISP then made the jump to first grade and don't perform….. now I'm not saying that'll happen but we shouldn't be reserving spots for players who aren't first grade proven. Competition is important too.

As for a centre I agree, Milne hasn't worked out yet but if that doesn't work out I wouldn't mind Blake fergo can play centre too

Corey Norman big big party boy loves his drugs more then Benny from Cronulla only a matter of time before he gets done his party's are a thing of legend

Our off contract players

JJ Felise, Heath Gibbs, Pita Godinet, Tim Grant, Benji Marshall, Esan Marsters, Sam McIntyre, Thomas Mikaele, Kevin Naiqama, Dylan Smith, Sauaso Sue, Malakai Watene-Zelezniak

Long way to go this year but hopefully we lock up Masters as soon as possible. If Benji is still going well he should be given another year or given a halves coaching role.

I would like to see more of Felise, Mikaele, Dylan Smith, Gibbs and Sam McIntyre to have an opinion.

Grant will most likely go to a club with a soft pack to get some $$

The rest are good depth but could be upgraded to make our 17 more potent.

Also Chris has a year to go after this season but depending on our recruitment might find himself out of the 17 next year.

Thoughts?

All of our development players are under contract until the end of 2020

I will ask that members please stop posting rumours about players doing hard drugs. Those posts will be deleted and if they persist, warnings will follow.

Now that we have sacked Taane Milne .. we only had 28 players on our roster .. so that now makes us have 27 players ?? So does that means that we have to sign 3 more players to make our roster of 30 top tier NRL player. So who and where are we going to sign these players from ??

Wonder who will pick him up surely he wont stay in reserve grade

Gutho is by far Parra's best player, when he comes back you'll see a different team, not saying they'll start winning straight away but they will be much more competitive and organised. I would go all guns blazing to get him, he can play anywhere in the backline but i'd put him at fullback or centre.

Right sort of attitude and a match winner. He would be one top line players that would fit in without to much disruption.

We have room for 2 game changers now….

Gone rather quiet on the game changer front..
