Fair dinkum, everyone is suggesting someone to be in the forwards, the backs and dummy half specialist…I don't care who wants who or who we need...we are in this space atm with who we have...this squad has to do the hard yards until we can get new personel...
Marty,Barba and everyone else mentioned wont be here next week, these players and the coach have to get the points on the board somehow, and with our injuries atm it will be tough...
chill and let Ivan do his work and hopefully his plans will come to fruition once we have our other players off the injury list and on the playing field, until then lets keep supporting the teams that get named...
as some have mentioned that our depth players may not be up to NRL yet so lets keep hoping Ivan can come up with something that helps relieve the pressure ...

The thread is called "Signing Suggestions and Rumours" not "Let's all be happy with what we've got: no interesting posts allowed"

Good point.

I come in here to read about potential signings not opinion pieces.

I dont know how many "potential signings and game changers suggestions" I have read in this section,it still ends up with who we have atm…I could suggest heaps of players that are elsewhere, but then reality checks in...

Its no so much reality its a bit of fun and excitement and something to talk about.

Its up to the individual to work out what may be fantasy and which rumors may have a little something to them.

OMG have only just seen my very first forum post, and must say all the genius thoughts I was having are nowhere to be seen. It looks so unintelligible and needed a paragraph or two.
In all seriousness though felt good to vent a little and I managed to sleep like a baby after it. Think I was driven to rant after the boyfriend commented how it was just a game. So at least I finally got to tell him how I really feel about the Warriors, who I have secretly hated since 2011.

Not sure what the protocol is, but everyone else on here seems very familiar with each other. So here goes. My name is Lauren, I'm 28 and currently live in Brisbane though hail from central NSW.
My love for the footy began with the Balmain Tigers, rewatching a helluva lot of old games with my late grandfather while recovering from a car accident. They got me through some very tough times.
When Wests Tigers were formed weirdly I loved them even more than the Balmain Tigers.
I only ever went to one game which was with my Pop and though I can honestly only remember a player (named Ben Jeffries) it is my best/favourite life memory thus far.

Today I feel more optimistic. I believe our strong start shows us what a great coach Cleary is and what the team are capable of. Plus we may have both Packer and McQueen in this week. And now after those losses we realistically see what we are lacking as a strong competitive team.
Players who have impressed me this year are Thompson and Lawrence. Liddle has too but his size worries me. I think that Brooks has been great on the development front and maybe the Origin drivel or Benji is messing him up. I'm not totally against Benji because up until the Knights game he was good for us, yet old Benji is creeping back in. I think Marsters and Chee-Kam are improving and I enjoy watching Twal and Aloiai. Before Packer's injury I loved both he and Matulino. Thought Matulino was fantastic in the Manly game.
So those are just a few of my thoughts.

Though I probably wont comment frequently, I cannot go without my daily dose of this forum and look forward to reading the good, the bad and the ugly.

No girlz aloud, Boyz only….................unless you join the MCK fan club?

I always see users referring to MCK as the beast. I know he goes really well at times. But is that sarcasm or do we all believe he can be something speciala and dominate. Pleaseeee be honest no sarcasm because im so confused atm

People need to remember the possession stats when looking at individual player statistics. If we have no ball while certain players are on the field their stats will be down. If we suddenly get a heap of ball while others are on the field their stats will be up.

If we're always working off the line forwards stats will be slightly down as the backs will usually take the first few - only leaving a couple for forwards.

We could still use an impact prop. Mats ran for 150m the other week. He just didn't get the chance this week. Packer and Matulino, with Twal working away is a very strong basis.

You are making to much sense Mate! Be careful.

Yep, running backwards chasing their tails, whilst also working hard from marker on the back of errors and poor options takes it out of the big middle men. Whilst Grant has been performing when called up, we are not short on that type of player and a mid season swap allowing him an extended contract elsewhere would not go astray.

Hoping that McQueen gets a run this week so that we can see how he is going, as if not looking the goods, and whilst you can never have enough props, I would rather target a running back rower.

Grant is a very useful piece of bait for any mid season swaps. A solid pro when called upon, but one we have cover for. But would be handy for teams needing an extra prop for a couple of years.

Agreed. He was killing it in ISP. Think he was the short term answer till Reynolds is ready too slot into 5/8 and Liddle into DH.

He’s a terrible first grader.

Better option than Benji though atm.

He’s not, trust me.

I would have rather had Drinkwater at 14 than Godinet - couldn't be any worse at DH, better backup for the halves and much better kicking game.

Have to agree on the Matulino/Packer combo. We had something special building there until Packer was injured.

Agree was covering an awful lot defensively around the ruck most of his time on the field.

Would anyone here agree with the Broncos for paying Payne Haas 2.8 million for 4 years ?

😱pen_mouth: incredible money for such a young player. If he turns out to be the next SBW though it’d be a solid deal.
