Has anyone heard if we are talking with two backrowers from the Roosters both are still under contract? I have heard it from 2 different sources but no names (the GC are intersted in 1 of them).

these players are?

Says no names mentioned.. Could be anyone.

Well their 2nd rowers are:

Boyd Cordner (2023)
Angus Crichton (2021)
Victor Radley (2023)
Ryan Matterson (2019)
Mitch Aubusson (2019)
Nat Butcher (2020)

Cordner, Crichton and Radley won't be going anyway and Aubusson seems like the type that will play out his career at the Roosters. Matterson and Butcher are the most likely to go of that lot. It's pretty insane 2nd row depth they have contracted for 2019…

Reuben Porter
Joshua Curran
Are also 2nd rowers at the rosters. Could be anyone.

Sosaia Feki would be a great signing. Is this for real or a troll?

It’s been going around on the forum for a couple of days.

Was at the Sharks game the other night and some mad Sharks fans sitting in front of me was saying Feki was off to the Tigers they also talked alot about the younger Brailey kid so who knows **but they did also talk about another outside back at the Sharks with big raps on him as well**

bronson xerri?

probably still undecided….. but does anyone know if Robbie or Benji are hoping to go around again?

I would say Matterson Aubuson & Butcher could be surplus to the Rorters and playing first grade would only be by way of injury they could be let go to keep Rorters under there beach umbrella .

And maybe Taukeiaho. He would be good signing. But also signed to 2020.

Going with Matterson and Aubusson

They’re the two most likely. I’d take Matterson for sure. Aubusson would be another end of career signing.

I am a Matterson fan he has fill out alot this year he came back the other week from wrist surgery which the Roosters told him to have after getting two HIA this year and having headaches for two weeks they said rest your head and get the surgery done he's an ex 5/8 he has some skills and good under the high ball

Yep Matterson would seem the most likely & would be a great pickup .

Another Rooster forward ( not a 2RF ) signed till 2019 & had a lot of speculation about him leaving last off season is Dylan Napa .

Has Corey Oats been retained by the Broncs or is he still looking to play backrow somewhere next year…I think he could transition to the back row pretty well, but that's only my opinion...He would bolster our pack no end...

Technically Taukieho is a back rower as well

Yeah but the Roosters are lean on options at prop and they're hardly going to let Taukeiaho walk.

I would rather have a proven forward in Matterson then aa unproven one on Oates.

I would love to have Oats here, but as a winger. He is just what we need (and what we haven't had for ages) on the end of the backline.

As for Matterson, he's more of what we already have, imo. Same as Ethan Lowe. We need to be targeting second rowers with impact - Taukeiaho or Tapau are the type of players we should be chasing.

He's really not. He's about 6'4" and 105+kg. He's a threat in the air. He has ball playing skills as an ex half. He has pace and can break the line. He's got a massive work rate and a tackle efficiency for the season of over 96%. He's only 23\. He would be an excellent signing as our RHS 2nd rower (the side he has been playing on this season).

Those guys are middle players ie Lock/Front row. Lowe and Matterson are second rowers, but I do agree we need more power through the middle before we need a second rower.

I'm hoping Garner might be the one to take the right second row spot.

Another one gone, Bronco's re-sign Su'a
