Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Listening to MMM at work. TPJ will be re-signing with broncos. Will happen in November as he's changing agents. Will be a two year deal.

Pretty much what the chubby dude from Queensland said on the Footy Show tonight also. Brisbane obviously have no trouble keeping them all :unamused:

Sounds like rubbish.

Anyone foolish enough to believe we were in the running to sign any of the Broncos juniors is wacked.

Tired of hearing how other teams can fit everyone in. They fit them in because they are professionally run and players want to play for them. Our club should try it sometime.

They have a massive advantage in tpa’s, post career opportunities and facilities. If they want to keep a player they are almost impossible to compete with. Best chance is to take a punt on their outcasts.

Watching Feki last night is he really better then the wingers we have currently?

We do need depth - with MWZ on the way out, along with Frozone, our outside backs stocks are very thin next year.

Marion Seve is now out of the Broncos system playing for Easts Tigers under the Storm feeder side..

Watto said he's good and would have played 50 NRL games by now if Unca wasn't a tool..

He would be at worst our 3rd best winger. I think with our game plan of outside backs doing the majority of hitups in our own end, Feki would suit us more than Thompson. I'd have them fight it out for the left wing spot.

He's miles ahead of MWZ and Fonua (On the wing), but I'm sure would cost more than those guys.

Better than both Fonua and Thompson?

I don't think so.

IMO it is all about money and power with these clubs …why else would young aspiring players want to play in the reggies for years with the occasional call up ..Roosters have at least 5 maybe 6 back rowers capable of playing NRL but are sitting in reserve grade .These players are getting huge TPAs just so the club has back ups but I also think that these clubs do this to weaken the pool for opposition clubs this is defiantly a well thought out proccess and this should be outlawed by the NRL but as we all know they are gutless.

Do you remember Fonua on the wing in first grade? Cleary had to hide him. :unamused:

Agreed. Thompson has been our best back this year.
