I can kind of cop Farah with Liddle being unable to stay on the field, but Benji, surely he must be on a pie and coke a week contract, otherwise a waste of a top 30 spot
Not less than 300k I reckon
You are probably right, I just don’t want to see Grub on the bench so Benji can play
@ said:@ said:@ said:As we are light on in the centres does anyone think Benji could play there with grub fit. Would definitely be able to handle it defensively
Benji played centre in Luke Brooks NRL debut, but the legs are a lot older now.
He would do less miles at center . Would probably struggle with the dirty carries though
@ said:Story in today's paper saying Peachey's wife doesn't want to leave Sydney. Penrith have said they can't afford to take him back.
Centre?

I'd take him in a heart beat did he play under Ivan at all or was Ivan already gone by then?

Surely Benji retires, he was cooked in round 10
Yes agreed, watching Benji over the last few games, although playing with injury, he's not the same Benji who started the season. This season has certainly taken its toll on his body, I bet he goes home after each game and asks himself "why am I still doing this"
In 2005, my then 5 year old son in his Tigers jersey, said he wants to be like Benji .. son now currently 17, 6'4" and a 100kgs of muscle, and still a Tigers supporter, said to me after watching the game last week "crikey Benji looks like he is playing busted, he's spent, he's gone .. time to retire I think" .. lol .. wise thinking from a 17 year old .. !! :unamused:
What position does your son play?

Haha .. sorry but he's a State Rep in Rugby at the moment, he plays number 8 .. which in league would be the lock. I'm working on him to go for a few trial matches next season in League though. He's a tackling machines, he's pulled off some big hits that reminded me off Simon Dywer's big hits .. he doesn't mind a hit up and can offload .. well he can in the under 18's .. lol. I'll might have to send his highlights real from Rugby to the Tigers if he goes alright in the League trial games in the preseason .. lol Unfortunately the trial games will be with a crappy team down here .. but hey gotta start somewhere .. !!
@ said:I'd also look at him as a straight swap with Taylor. Retire Taylor and play Peachey back row
