That team is literally better than us in every position on the field.

That team is quite obviously rorting the cap. There is no 'management' of the salary cap that fits 8 current/very recent SOO players inside of it.

I was thinking the same thing thers no way that team would be legal….especially when you consider that marty tapau is asking 1mil per season.....and they wonder why fans are turning off league

Watching some of the names we have spoken about these guys would be realistic targets who could improve the side marginally:

Lowe
Gela-Mosby
Kelly
Hetherington
Latu
Peachey (more valuable in a team that is physically dominant)

To improve the side drastically we would need to go all out for:

Marty
TPJ
Matterson
Tapine
Rapana
Munster
NAS

Most of this second list are free to negotiate in Nov (source zero tackle) and if we are serious we need at least 2 and probably 3 of this calibre.

I know it's a pipe dream at this stage, but the club has to find a way to get it done.

Marty - Roosters
TPJ. - Stay with Broncos
Matterson - Possible
Tapine - Possible, but unlikely
Rapana - Stay with Canberra
Munster - Stay with Storm
NAS - Sorry a bit dense, don't know who this is?

It's bloody immoral and Greenberg doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to change the current system, for the fear of upsetting the Roosters, Broncos, Storm, and Cowboys or any other club with rich influential friends.
Petty HT couldn't drag a few of his subbies along to cough up a few TPA's for us.

I agree. The roosters are playing by the rules. It's just the rules that are wrong. The NRL won't care If a Sydney teams folds.

Everyone in that starting line up, except for Manu and Liu would be on about half a million or more, several on a million. The wingers perhaps on 400k
