I think Cleary to Penrith is done and everyone knows that.

I am sure there are logistics to work out but I don't know a person who wants him here.

Based on your comments and the Queens I’m expecting that we are set to release Cleary and sign Bennett for 2020\. (Can’t happen beforehand). Bennet would have signed the deal before the international games start and would have given permission for it to be ‘revealed’ whilst the international series is on (the media is unable to get a comment as the focus is on the international test).
This then leaves the Tigers with a job prior to preseason to encourage Bennett to leave early. Again easy to be arranged outside the public eye. Or decide on a caretaker for 2019.

Anything is possible but I can't see WT leaving themselves open to having to find a one year coach. I can't imagine an established coach agreeing to a one year term. That's leaves us looking at the likes of Brett Hodgson for one year, similar to Ciraldo at Penrith. As much as I admired Hodgson as a player, I can't say I was over-impressed with his coaching at ISP level this year.

We can’t actually sign a new coach before 2021 until we release Ivan either completely or a year earlier.

It's hard to go past the talk about Bennett staying at the Broncos for 2019 - so that leaves us the options of either keeping Cleary for next season, getting a fill in coach for 2019 or looking at Maguire for a longer term.
Of the above I think Maguire is probably the best scenario.

On Fonua-Blake, it would be very disappointing if the Knights were to get him. I think he'd be a really good pick-up for us if it's true that he wants out of Manly.
