Is Turpin any good? Haven't really seen him play.

He looked very good against Manly, only one game but the commentators on FOX spoke of how much better he made the attack look, and I agree

Is this Turpin reliable - would anyone know if he has only played 1 NRL game. Maybe ok as a backup for Liddle.

If we gave Liddle an ultimatum and then let him go - we have rocks in our heads.

Isn't the Forum always complaining about letting young players go ah-la Korabeite, Addo-Carr, Paps etc. That's ok let's get rid of another - one that we have been grooming as Farah's replacement.

Looking at the off contract players I would sign Aloiai, MCK, Liddle, Mikaele, Thompson, Garner, Dylan Smith, McIntyre, Fonua, Lawrence.

Contracted players we should move on Reynolds, Packer, Nofa, Mcqueen.

Off contract we should target Jai Field, Tui Kumikaica, Christian Welch, Peni Terepo, Mawene Hiroti, Sitili Tuponoua.

Can only hope. I wouldn't mind Jimmy myself though, he has some pace we are sorely lacking.

Same but being a realist if he cant handle Seibolds brand of discipline he is no chance to survive in Maguires. Apparently needs to be nurtured by the coach.

For sure, we never seem to land those types of players, just saying that he is definitely a player that we could use.

As usual we'll have to watch what else falls out of the tree to accommodate him.

I'm not worried about Liddle's size or defence. I'm worried about him being able to play 80 consistently without getting busted and missing large parts of the year.

@Furious1 Yeha it's a shame the way things turned out that year. Having a highly talented but very scrawny young fullback behind the current Origin fullback. He decided to head elsewhere early in the season as there was a road block with the Tigers in Teddy. Fair enough.
Then Teddy decides to leave too and suddenly we're without the best fullback and one of the best young fullbacks in the game too. Maybe Ryan should have waited a bit longer but that's how the Storm recruit. They very aggressively target top young players at 18/19, early in the season and give them a take it or leave it offer in March April
It looks like Ryan has put on an extra 5-7kgs of muscle to his frame - something we always seem to struggle with our smaller players. Must be something in the water down there. Maybe Pap would come back but with Mbye at fullback he'd need to go to wing and he may be a bit small to play there? He's mostly at fullback at the storm, yeah?
