@TigersBusDriver But they did try and he left because we still had Tedesco, so unless we let Tedesco go to keep him he wasn’t going to stay. It was nothing to do with the amount offered. We also offered Tedesco $1M a season so I’d say we tried our hardest to keep him.

@Harvey No doubt. Obviously, the situation was not ideal. But I don't think I've ever seen a club like ours get strung along and lose players to other clubs because of "unideal situations". It happened with Marty, JAC, Papenhuyzen, etc. These are all players, who, having still been in our squad would improve us immensely and we lost them.

I mean, he would be starting for us right now if he was still here. Not sure what's gonna happen with him at Melbourne.

Probably a slight difference as he knew Slater had a max of 2 years left and then there was an opening, while he was probably thinking Teddy is at the Tigers for the next 8 years.

Drinkwater signed with Cows. Now they have Hughes and Paps, though Hughes played halves on the weekend when they hooked Croft.

Losing JAC is the one that really really hurts, couldnt care less about the "big 3", but watching Josh play for the storm.....Gosh....how on earth did we let him slip through.

I still have hopes that he will want to return "home" to us....after winning everything he can at the storm!

Not just JAC, venivalu was also a tiger before joining the storm so the storm has our probable 1,2,and 5
