Josh has not found the consistency I was hoping would come with experience. If he decides to leave I am confident we have his replacement in CC.

Losing Aloiai is the forward equivalent of JAC..

I believe he will stay

Agreed. It will be regretful should he go.

Our final spot for 2019 will be an internal promotion.

Is that correct about Luke Garner’s brother signing for next year?

Just read an interesting stat.
*Moeaki Fotuaika has averaged 185 running metres per game in his last four as a starter.
He’s 19-years old.
Jason Taumalolo is the only player in the NRL averaging more than 185 running metres per game.*

I think he needs to be averaging that for a long, long time before you go comparing him to JT. Good young player though.

The Mole: Wests Tigers Lose Cult Hero to Super League
By The Mole

Wests Tigers cult hero Mahe Fonua has signed a three-year deal with English club Hull FC. The hard-running centre/winger was recently told by coach Michael Maguire that he was not wanted for 2020 but there has been no shortage of clubs chasing Fonua. He was in demand in both the NRL and Super League and decided on a sea change, today signing a long-term deal with the Hull FC club.

Fonua is a favourite son at Hull FC, having played there for two years and winning two Challenge Cups in 2016-17 before returning to Australia with the Tigers. The 26-year-old has been a popular figure at Concord with his fearless running and bizarre hair styles. But he suffered a foot injury in the recent game against Canberra and is unlikely to play again this season.

@Sunnycoast_tiger Nothing to update as yet, but another club has entered late for Josh Aloiai. Not confident on him staying unfortunately.

I would be disappointed to lose him,he is having a very solid season with Madge as coach

Best of luck to Mahe.

As to the above discussion about Aloai.

I add this point. In the past history of our club. Who has become a better player here.

Tyson Gamble has been released effective immediately so I guess we have 2 spots available.

Was wondering if/when this would drop. 2 spots to fill now indeed.

Does Fonua's spot need to be filled by June 30?

If he's on the books for the rest of the year then I'd say not.

Apparently Garner's brother has signed with us, so that's only one spot isn't it, which I believe the Pom has said we will be promoting internally? Robson or Bradley hopefully.

Garner would most likley be a development player for next year and not related to the 2 signings we need to make this week.

Again, i truly hope we are looking for the next Twal/Aloiai and not simply promoting Bradley and Talau/Seyfarth

@cktiger It wasn't actually me who compared him to JT, but Jason Oliver. I just think it's impressive considering he's had a fractured wrist for over a month.
