@Masterton That is Slater's opinion or one of the other former players. He is entitled to have it. Woods is well regarded generally across the Shire. Supporters understand he is one cog. I believe you will find greater angst with Duges, Jayden Brailey and Johnson performances this year This is Woods second game back from a serious injury.

Is he still with the same agent? If he had left his agent I would perceive that as a sign of remorse.

He exposed himself big time by thinking he was bigger than this club and thought he’d go elsewhere and shell peas. The total opposite. He’d have been better off here. At least his deficiencies were not as blatantly obvious.

So he'd be injury free here, and not open to commentators opinion? He's got as good as chance making the finals again and probably not concerned about Billy Slater.

I think if we don't sign a gun second rower, which seems likely, we pull the trigger on Marsters making the switch. Its a contract year for him so he'll be hungry. He's gonna end up there eventually anyway right?

Of what I have seen of Masters in the centre position doesn’t give me great hope he will be a great backrower.

Don’t get me wrong, he is a good centre, but Matterson is the prototype you need for a backrower. Although you are right, his days in the three quarters is numbered

@GNR4LIFE Masters is our best centre. I would not be in a hurry to move him until we have two big and pacy centres who can score tries. set up their wingers, defend and one can kick goals. He'll be in the centrs for as long as he stays at WTs.

Gallen would be under the long serving player allowance, he wouldn't open up a whole lot of cap space, much like Rowdy for us.

$300K for us is a big deal when we're $325K in the hole on a cap penalty.
