We then paid $180k of his $220k deal with the Eels for the next 3 years. Mayer was a complete and utter clown who did more harm to the club then just about nayone

Your right about Mayer, clueless.
And some believe CEO's have nothing to do with recruitment!

@The_Patriot I really want to see Masters moved into the forwards. Our season is effectively done so Madge needs to experiment. Momo was average on the weekend, but so was the whole team (most who have a lot more NRL experience too). Give Momo a few games to build confidence in the centre's. Masters is done in the backs, he's been ineffective and looks alot slower than most other centre's in the game, so into the pack for me. We need to try something new with squad we've got as it looks like no one is going anywhere. Even put Reynolds into centre's so we can get some value for money.

JT is one to talk about bad attitude, and with his first move as coach sacked a bloke who hadn't even arrived, and reduced our cap by $180k a year for 3 years, and it was all down hill from there

@TheDaBoss it almost sure up single handedly in regards to attack, ay, I think once Thomo can be looked upon for great depth and we finally as a club see ourselves move on from (mainly just woods and Ted) by recruiting even half adequate replacements, then the finances and home grounds can be our serious focus’ for getting right - and surely won’t be as big a factor as recruitment and retention on our success, in the mean time 😆 I fail to see the negativity and have just finished the replay of our game !

All the guys Madge likes and younger blokes are excelling , one or TWO good signings without even needing to mention that word potential could totally do a 360 for us and land in the 8

@balmain-boy I say offer 700-800k and take the risk.. He would have a starting place here and that would be a big incentive I would think. But we all know this won't happen.

very true. I don't think Marsters is a centre and should be moved to the forwards asap.

I like reynolds. I like that he leaves everything on the pitch. I'm disappointed for him (and us) with his injuries because he could/'ve been a really great player for us.

But Momo, obviously powers that be see something in him which i have yet noticed. Don't get me wrong he deserves a good chance, but so far he's not setting a high standard. With how our season has gone he should be playing every week from here on in to get him cracking.
