Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Ramien, Sorry he has speed and some aggression so wouldnt fit in with our team.

In fairness if he has some defensive liabilities our current centres are like swiss cheese so it cant be any worse!

No to Ramien for me, he's one of the most over hyped players running around, when he feels like playing he's great but that happens once every 10 weeks.

Seems like he also has an attitude problem and probably off field dramas too.
A big NO.

A coach like Madge would suit someone like Ramien....

Nathan Brown is someone I think some players find hard to respect what comes out of his mouth....Ramien may be one of them

Ramien would be HUGE for us.

Brown is an absolutely hopeless coach. He has no idea.

Give Madge Ramien and we would have an Origin center.

Please someone make it happen.

Madge is all about attitude and it's clear that Jesse may have an issue with that. It would be a big thumbs up for me if Madge feels like he could fix it.

What sort of coin is Ramien on at Knights? Any chance we could realistically afford him?

Knights just gave him permission to negotiate, we should be straight up the freeway

For the right price though, no more paying overs for unproven players...Thanks to the Knights he should be cheap as chups.

Knights will probably kick in for next year as they are punting him

I disagree.....him slapping trent barrett was the best bit of coaching I've ever seen!!!

Not the age bracket either. Not at NRL pension age.

If we could swing Ramien it would be a big yes for me, and i agree with someone a couple of pages back Reynolds the other way could make some sense for both clubs.

If there's one coach stupid enough to entertain that trade it would be Nathan Brown.

A big NO.

Some players with what appears to be an attitude problem just need a change in scenery and time to change.

For example Klemmer left Bulldogs on negative terms but is doing well at Newcastle. Broncos are benefiting from the ongoing rehab of Matt Lodge. Storm are getting some value out of Sandor Earl.

What is important, regardless of whether or not we can afford Ramien, is does MADGE think he has an irreparable attitude problem. The issue with Ramien might be as specific as an inability to get on with Nathan Brown and nothing else.

A certain Moses Suli fits that bill

Signing a goal kicker is all well and good, we need one. But they need to have some ability to. Can't just pick him cos he can slot them from the sideline. I'm sure everyone remembers the famous Eion Crossan.

Ross Conlon

Len Killeen

Ah, Len Killeen.
Used to dig a hole with his heel, put the ball upright on it’s point and toe-poke the ball. Watched him miss a goal from 10m in front at the old Sydney Sports Field in ‘69 or ‘70.

Andrew Fifita springs to mind. Sacked off by Sheens because of his attitude.
