Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

@tony-soprano Brooks is easily one of our best. It seems illogical to let him go? Adding good players to the team appears to be the way forward. Walters has played 2 games and the one game I watched he appeared solid

How many chances do we give him. If the past two weeks does not prove he does not have what it takes I don’t know what does

@tony-soprano He was Dally M Halfback of the year last year. I cannot understand some of the comments about him. Watch the Eels play and the big fast wingers who attack the high ball and the big fast centres who hit the gaps a top speed. This removes a lot of pressure from Moses and allows him to be a real threat with the ball. Brooks does not enjoy this luxury. We have no speed on the wings or centres except for the rookie Talau. This needs to be addressed

Isaac Luke

I personally dont like him, i think he is a dirty player but he would kill 2 birds with 1 stone, experienced hooker and a much needed goal kicker. Probably get 1 contract of 2 or 3 years out of him as i think he is early 30s. Liddle does worry me with his injuries, hope the kid comes good, but this could be a way to ease Liddle into firsts again. Liddle would be about 26/27 when Luke retires, so Liddles body would be at its peak and we may get 5-8 years out of him from that point.

Don’t hold your breath

Don't think Liddle will be hangin' around until Luke decides to retire in 3 years time.

He'll be another of the ones that escaped.

As good a player as Liddle might be, he is always injured, or coming back from injury, how long do we wait, we have waited for an eternity for Brooks and we are still waiting, I don't want to go down that road again

May have done his dash. Had my doubts about signing him on long term contract.

Sorry but Moses is good because he handles pressure and rises to those moments.

You are flogging a dead horse

Moses has left Brooks for dead with every aspect of the game bar defence, but it is a no contest in who is the better halfback

It really is quite disturbing how far apart these two are right now.

All for the sake of our coach at the time trying to wiggle his son into this club.

No coach in his right mind would chose Brooks over Moses in 2019

Ok, keep believing that.

No one else but our fans rate Brooks higher than Moses

Moses is still a flat track bully beating up on weaker teams but going missing against heavyweights .

Not from what ive seen. the guy rises to a challenge.

I dislike the way he treated this club but im not about to put that ahead of common sense. The guy is playing extremely well and is one of the top halves in the game.

Fact.

Not anymore, he once was, now he is a genuine good 7, 29 try assists first in the league, listen to the commentators and players, Moses is the real deal, unlike our 7
