I think Geo’s scale needs to incorporate potential for brain farts. Matt Utai and Action Jackson Kaufusi are probably the benchmarks there.

I couldn't agree less. Many plodders never ever have a brainfart. Sometimes they never even pass the ball! There should be completely different scale for Crazed Hotheads (Corey Payne, Luke O'Donnell) and whatever the nickname is for people who consistently make the wrong decision. (we've had a few on that scale, even amongst our best).

I couldn't agree less. Many plodders never ever have a brainfart. Sometimes they never even pass the ball! There should be completely different scale for Crazed Hotheads (Corey Payne, Luke O'Donnell) and whatever the nickname is for people who consistently make the wrong decision. (we've had a few on that scale, even amongst our best).

I'm not talking about plodders, that was for Geo's proposed nuffie scale. I agree plodders have little discernable brain activity but for a nuffie the propensity to perform a baffling act of stupidity is a key indicator.

Agree we need another scale for hotheads/bezerkers. I remember LO'D completely lose the plot against us once. Got penalised three times in a minute and then got binned. Good times...

I would expect Madge to get rid of most/all of his current assistants. Sandercock has been here for a while now. Hodgo has sadly been a failure. We need better assistants and there's no room for sentiment.

I used to not rate huth to but you can’t Say no To his work rate...yes he’s not as flashy as high I,pact props but he’s chewijg out 60 mins a game...does need some leg drive and tackling improvements tho

In this morning's Daily Telegraph . . . yeah, I know how poor that paper is . . . there was an article that said Marsters was being chased hard by the Cowboys. Their original target was Ramien, and now they are gunning for Esan.

@WT2K David Furner is linked with the Knights as the assistant coach as well. Walters is just an average fill in .. what 25 years young and only had 2 game as a bench player in the NRL .. why .. not good enough to make the top grade .. ?? Strange buy if we get him, and if we do get him i hope he's better than his record shows.

I remember Beau Ryan deliberately tap the ball back in from going over the sideline straight into the arms of a rabbits player....great nuffie!!!

I also remember a glorious night at Campbelltown where Nathan Brown ran about ten kilometers to fight an entire Raiders reserve grade team...then the Tigers captain and anybody else in the vicinity

@GNR4LIFE He certainly did not .. but he did sign the Plodder of the year Jennings , so until I see some quality signings I have reservations about Madge bringing quality to the club .

I bagged Jennings after his game against eels but I’m not prepared to scrap him just yet. He looked fitter and stronger last week. Maybe a big off season will see him ready to perform at 1st grade standard.

not sure where to put this and its the usual friend i wont reveal thing but i have heard we have a few players being moved on but it wont be announced until seasons end. Dudes a real close mate of mine and works very high up just not in our club. Without saying it he hinted at mcqueen and reynolds and like it has been said before they will try to get mats retired with an exemption during the off season.

It’s already out there re grub, and it’s been mentioned by a couple of posters who claimed they had inside info that McQueen was told he could go.

Reynolds, McQueen, Mats and Packer. All 4 major signings from last year. Staggering really. Who’d have thought at the time Thompson would turn out to be the MVP of those signings.

just shows how poisonous Ivan Cleary was for this club.

I’m just glad we signed a coach who could finally attract quality players.....oh wait

Just reading through the panthers forum. Some are very nervous once they get a bit of cap space with Ivan or as some are calling him now, Dave's mate having the cheque book after who he signed for us ?
