Well we are sort of linked to 3 decent backrowers
Chrichton, Arrow and Frizell - we should do a poll?

Who would be the best fit for us?

I think Frizell is the best player of the three and would add the most value . I also view him as a bit of a marquee player (every team would gladly take Frizell) which would have a positive impact on other players joining the WT.

In saying that i'd gladly take any of the three. They're all very good.

Geez I’d like to see Frizell join us.
I was a Packer fan and am glad to hear he is fired up.
Packer
Someone?
Twal
Garner
Lawrence
Frizell
with
Mikaele
CheeKam
Clarke
It’s an ok pack. Add a classy second rower and drop Lawrence to the bench and we are looking good I reckon

Just looking at 2019 Stats for like two minutes, these are the Stats which the three of them rank highest on

Crichton: Tackles (also Missed Tackles), Post contact metres, Tackle breaks, Player in support
Arrow: Offloads
Frizell: Chargedowns (1)

On that and in my view, its Crichton

If Crichton leaves the Rorters my guess he would go to Rugby -they will be desperate and cashed up with so many players going elsewhere.

Plus Matterson averaged 76 mins per game which I guess we are replacing here
Only Crichton with 69 mins (2018 79) has shown he can do that
Frizell and Arrow both averaged 57 mins

Arrow averaged more tackle breaks per game than Crichton, plus he averaged an extra 30 run metres per game, plus he averaged more post contact metres per game (12th highest in the league in that category).

If Lawrence is in the 17 come round 1 I think we have a problem.

Keary's attack is predominantly focused on the left side. Crichton didn't get a lot of good ball, especially in the 1st half of the season.

If the Matulino retirement has any legs surely the NRL have to decide on it by Thursday at the latest? It seems nuts to leave it any longer, especially with a signing window opening on Friday

Not to mention that it commences another year of payments to him and all others.

All 3 would be fine thanks.

Get rid of Matulino, McQueen and Reynolds and it’s do-able

The NRL are so terrified of setting a precedent in medically retiring players that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi,wouldn't even qualify.

I'll trust you on that Nelson, I didn't go per game and Arrow did miss quite a few so I imagine you are right, maybe Crichton got there on volume of games, fair enough
Highlights maybe that Arrow misses more games though

@Curly_Tiger Chrichton is busted. He’s had multiple hip and shoulder surgeries and amputated a finger all by the age of 24. Souths were happy to let him go
