Of course fans are conscious to not get too over exited before anything is official. Nothing is certain until it's on the website.

Even if it is done late today and the club decide not to announce it until Monday we're not exactly going to get tweets from Pascoe or Lee saying 'yipee! got him!' at 5pm this arvo.

They've probably only just arrived in Taree now, or may still be on the road. With the fires there's a lot more unknowns. Sometimes the fact there hasn't been an article for a few hours isn't a bad thing. The journos are all guessing via second hand sources... Though it wouldn't surprise me if some are camped out around Taree looking to grab a photo of a meeting etc.

Do you really think that in this day and age they are driving all the way to Taree, when they can be there in a hour by aeroplane!!

Have you ever flown to TAREE? I have next time I'll walk if I can't get there by car .

Looks like he was with the Storm.

Looks like we are adopting the roosters model of identifying young kids from outside our junior area and getting them in to our flegg side. Can only be a good thing. We must also be putting a bit more faith in the scouts we have on the ground. Seems to me in the past we have just relied on balmain and wests juniors. Its a good move to look elsewhere.

Has he ever passed a ball?

He will need to learn to be carry the ball in more than one arm before being able to pass. Got a bit of skill, but not many haven't learnt to carry the ball in alternate arms by that age.

Isn't Daine Laurie up that way now ...........no relation ??

Daine Laurie was from Lower Clarence, I believe he is related to Roberts-Davis, James Roberts etc.
Seen him play a development game With the Titans & he was exceptionally quick, I thought he looked more like a centre, he had a bit of mongrel about him. He looks to have plenty of potential as long as he can handle life in the big smoke & not get homesick.

No I’ve never flown into Taree, but I’ve flown into Port May times especially when I lived there.
Port is only a short drive to Taree.
