Well we did just sign the big bloke from Parra‘s juniors - that was today.

No offence but us fans need to get over the recent coaches and short term player transfers. Future is bright we should be optimistic.

I was listening to an American podcast , and they were talking about the optimal time for a team to drop a story /signing . They were saying Monday morning, as you get the whole news cycle for the week talking about you and it really engages the community .

I don't really rate Holmes. He's a decent winger but that's pretty much it. $1m for him is obscene.

**He went ballistic at the back end of 2018 at fullback. In 12 games he scored 13 tries, had 9 try assists and 52 tackle breaks. He was one of the form players in the game for that (admittedly brief) period.** Query whether he'll be able to go close to replicating that after his time out of the game and different training regime...

My oath he did. Anyone that played supercoach and didn't have him (me) was getting rolled by Holmes alone. I din't think the guy was going to be a fullback, but boy did he prove me wrong.

Yep I completely agree. However, us fans have been shafted pretty hard over the years and that does take time to get over.

The club will soon announce the recruitment of Luciano Leilua to fill the void left by the departure of Ryan Matterson. The Dragons had at one point contemplated a Leilua-Matterson swap, although the latter instead returned to Parramatta.

The Tigers have exacted some revenge on the Eels with the signing of young gun Stefano Utoikamanu, who is expected to make his NRL debut next season. Utoikamanu has signed with the Tigers for three years from 2021, but they will accommodate him immediately if he is granted an early release.

I think that this may be some part of the deal to release Matterson to the Eels.

If this is the case I think we got out of it very well

I would take Semi and Lomax plus a first grade Standard front rower and come up with a way better 2020 squad result ..... Based on what has been happening to date (my humble opinion only) is that Latrell is proving to be “Big Bang” “High Price “solution which seem to be more and more a high risk gamble for our Club.
We definitely don’t need another Moses, Matterson sucky saga on our hands.
