They have to as NQ not that attractive to many players. Their squad for 2020 is a bit underwhelming even with Holmes - full of Tarzan/Jane types. Canberra had trouble attracting big names until they one upped a lot of clubs by importing good players from the U.K.

Just read on ninewwos re Souths talking with Radradra. He wants a minimum of $500k. Reported that rabbits have $250k left in their cap and waiting on the Burgess outcome to fund the rest.
If true can't see LM fitting in unless a few more players are out the door.

They would have to find a club that wanted to take any of their players, and South’s would probably have to pay some if their salary as well.
I can’t see too many clubs wanting to help South’s solve their salary cap problems.

Yeah but it’s personal for me. Two of my best mates are Rorters supporters- as passionate as us. I NEED this to happen as I’m so sick of copping their constant crap. This one backfires and I’ve got nothing! Again!
