It is a shame Moses wasn't picked as hooker for his last few games.

Moses & Reynolds are two square pegs looking for a round hole.

IMO Moses proved he isnt a fullback (unacceptable catching) but was close to our best centre last year (certainly best defensively), is serviceable enough at 9 to spend time there at SOO.

Reynolds is the second or third best 5/8th in a team where the best 5//8th is pushing 40. IMO Reynolds is a rubbish 9, his passing is terrible and this whole "high energy" game he seems to have built around himself doesnt serve him well at hooker which is probably the most critical position to implement a "game plan".

imo mbye did enough in gaps in 2019 eg. suburb tackles and in 2018 to prove he can play the FB roll well, I think this was a blunder by madge imo, he clearly wasn't fit the whole year struggling with the hip injury that finally ruled him out late in the year. madge never should have brought him back at fb in round 2, the most demanding position of the 17, if we needed him he should have been playing centre rd 2 as he clearly wasn't fit and had lost his pace, meaning he was unable to postion himself fast enough as a fb must do.

William Kennedy the Newtown Canterbury Cup fullback won the club's best back award, was the club's leading tryscorer for 2019 and scored the winning last minute try in the grand final. He is 22 years old and the son of former Balmain player Bubba Kennedy. Seems a likely lad for the Wests tigers fullback position if Cronulla doesn't snare him for first grade.

Getting off-topic and nasty, but particularly the nasty part I think. Whenever you see a run of deleted posts, you are a high chance of bannings or threads being locked.

He extended with the Sharks over a month ago...or at least that was reported in the media

It's a funny one. Think his contract had the option of an extension in either the player or club's favour and this was actioned.

I wouldn't be opposed to Bubba jnr signing on. But he'd still have to compete with Corey. Not a walk up starter

Moses is still the best fullback on our books. A mistake to move him. Thompson is a trier but hasn’t got the same talent.

Yeah but the point was when the picture was displayed of the boys at Fingal was nothing was happening as Buzz mentioned early this week ...yeah OK we started talking about the fish and Latrell's porch ..but there was a point to it all

Many were hoping because of Buzz's comments (and smoking guns comments ) it would be done by Tuesday

No way it was going to be done by Tuesday and now you throw in Dave Trodden's comments Latrell won't be coming anywhere near Sydney anytime soon

I usually agree with you @willow .....not on this one

And that's all fair enough as I realise the 'ministrators have a very difficult job in keeping things going on an even keel for all.

Don't get me wrong...I recognise the 'ministrators do an excellent job :+1: .

But in this particular thread for example, we got off-topic, @Spartan117 mentioned it and @Red88_Tiger got us back on track again.
In the very next post @Geo goes off-topic again.

Why wasn't Geo's post deleted

I believe I have had less blatant posts deleted.

My post to start a fishing thread was to get the thread back on topic is why...it was the same when it meandered of about club draws and which Clubs get favourable treatment..

There is nothing new or concrete in regards to Letrell Mitchelll and that's what happens when there is it will be posted...

It was ignored...and page after page ended up in days of our lives so willow closed it for the time being..

Sorry. I meant Mitchell Moses last year- would have been fun to watch .

Can't hurt having competition for spots. Not opposed to mbye having another crack at FB if we don't sign one

Weren't we all meant to know by early this week? We're only a few hours away.

Maybe 4pm deadline ?

I really don't think Mitchell has decided what he wants to do. Usually, there's a big ground swell of media 1-3 days before and it's been quiet for ages.

We'll hear about his next contract in the media before it actually gets announced...we're way off

It was a rumour that talks are back on nothing about signing or otherwise...

Ok cool. I'm hoping we are working behind the scenes on other potential targets whilst things are continuing..as I imagine this could continue to drag out.
