According to Justin Pascoe, we need only 2 signings before end of March. On 28/11 we dropped off Mitchell to focus on JAC.
Considering that JAC & AJ are those 2. IMO.

I'm no AJ fan, but they would seem to be the best 2 possibly available and willing to come, don't they?

You need to understand the language spoken at the bunnies. When a player says he’s staying, that means he’s going.

Very hit ans miss an CC. Solid but nothing special. The scary thing is currently we are 1-2 injuries away from him needing to be picked.

Sorry am I missing something I was of the belief we had 27 of the 30

I really think that we need to move another couple of current players on to create some space on our top 30 rester.
McQueen, McIntyre, Smith and Taylor would be my weak links in the current squad.

We cannot even replace the spots we opened up this off season so that's not a good idea at this stage.. If we were recruiting well and players wanted to come here than I 100% agree..

Oh really ..... That is a rather shortsighted statement!
I think things will reach a conclusion that is satisfactory to our coaching staff by next couple of weeks.
But then we may still have couple of players on our 30 roster which are just not going to fit our requirements for this year.
I know that this happens but to me, it seems at least two of those I mentioned are just taking up valuable space.

Dylan Smith working on his ball playing could be a fantastic compromise to benefit the side between an athlete and a workhorse.. very CNK if you will ! Other option to me would be Abbey

Smith strikes me as an old school fullback. He's pretty safe at the back and a decent support player but doesn't really add anything extra to the attack. If we desperately needed him he'd probably go better then Kurtis Rowe did but thats not saying much.

Your math is good Goanna. I’m assuming Pascoe can count and if so it is my belief he thinks Stef is a done deal.

The problem is who would take them?

McQueen has a UK passport and thus is eligible to play as a local....in their below par league.

And still he won't leave.

400 000 a year to basically keep fit with us and play some park level state cup.

Worst deal ever...for a bloke who was already broken down. 1.2 million for his pension basically.

Taylor / Cleary can go rot.

Smith played injured a lot last season. Solid in defence and under the high ball but didn't show enough in attack. Was a very weak CC side though so hard to shine
