Rabbits were 7/12 wins with Doueihi at fullback last year..

His stats aren't amazing, pretty average. Corey Thompson's are better. But then again, stats arent everything.

Someone earlier here posted Doueihi's highlights video with "all of Adam Doueihi's trys for 2018 and 2019". The most underwhelming Highlights video Ive seem. A handful of catch and fall over the line tries and then a message "Adam Doueihi scored no tries for 2019". Of course a tries highlights package doesnt tell the whole story, but for the hype you would expect a few line breaks etc.

Its been reported he is on 600k at the raiders. There is no way he is worth that sort of money. Canberra would have to subsidise a fair bit of his 2020 contract. Then 2021 we could be stuck with another overpaid under achiever.

You would think the Raiders would be paying half of his contract.

On Douehi, it takes a year to get back to recover from a knee reconstruction and the way he played towards the end of the season confirms this fact. He is rated highly by Bennett and if the Storm wanted to play him in the centres indications are that he is rated by the best coaches. Well done if true WTs.

How good is Luciano at selling the club? A few really good positive interviews with him and it seems genuine. Like the guy already.

You're spot on Glenn. This guy has been with us five minutes and has been 100% positive at every step. How refreshing to have him on board after our experiences with Moses and Matterson.

And this is why I don't get the death riding that goes on in here. Perceptions change pretty quickly (Think Raiders and south's from years gone by). So while not a 'Destination' club ATM, we're not far off.

What's different?
- COE
- Majority ownership
- profitability
- Premiership winning coach
- new stadium

Never in our recent history have we had all of the above.

In honesty I reckon he’s a bonehead and does a lot of stupid stuff but he’s better than what we have and is a handful. If he’s available at a fair price may as well roll the dice. Just needs to tone down the dumb stuff.

These are some serious missing pieces we've been needing for years.

Hopefully Walters kills it at hooker or at least till we can get some one to replace King Farah. Maybe Simpkin.
