If Adam Douehi falls through do we think Alex Johnson may emerge again, he's likely excess to requirements at Souths and they need forwards. Swap for McQueen?

Why don't we just swap McQueen for Tedesco? We could also do Reynolds for Munster and perhaps Packer for Taumalolo.

We did , but McQueen convinced the club he was a better player and even better bloke

Plus the $330k Robbie Farah post football job penalty.

By my reckoning we have 18 signed for 2020 at $7.15m or an average of $400k

That leaves $2.75m for 12 spots so if you assume 4 at minimum that leaves $2.3m for 8 spots or an avearge of ~$290k

Not very encouraging figures to me, as way below average.

AJ has been good and from all reports is a quality individual that Madge signed previously and got the best out of, he's deteriorated post Madge when Souths have increasingly gone to the left

Even if we had to kick in $200k for CMQ I'd do it, we'd still have $600k up our sleeve for our final two spots

At this stage only Reynolds would be less attractive to other teams.

I agree I'm dealing some pretty ordinary cards but Souths pack isn't deep, especially if Arrow stays on the Coast for 2020

I'm slightly confused , I'm 100% behind us trying to support our indigenous players on and off field , but hiring a assistant coach based on the fact he is indigenous

Maybe I'm too far away , but I've never heard of the bloke before

He was with WT'S last year and has been promoted to a more senior role MADGE would not have employed him just because he's indigenous MADGE is more professional than that!
