On LL they are saying that the player who is going to Souths may be Packer.

At his best our pack is stronger with him in it, no question about it. But is he at his best? He's been away for a while and he's on big money. Not sure what to think about that one.

We're spoiled for front rowers. Mikaele, Clark, Twal, Musgrove and Garlic Mayo and Eisenhuth can play there too.

If by some miracle we moved him on, we might have a bit of coin to throw at a pacey back if one made themselves available (I'd wager we'd have to cover some of Packers freight?)

Seriously if we close out Doueihi that will mean that the club has signed Musgrove, LL, Joey Leilua, Doueihi, organised the Grant/Momo swap to solve our short term problem at 9, resigned our best young'uns, signed Stefano.

Can we please put to bed the "no one will come to us", "Our club isnt doing anything"....deathriding of the club? Seriously. I actually think it is hilarious that whilst a large group of fans are here deathriding the club with reports of falling sky, the club has been working hard and well behind the scenes to make these things happen.

I REALLY wanted LM to come but I think it may be a blessing we missed him, I think that what has happened is a better result.

I reckon it puts us ahead for 2020...Matterson and Marsters to a lesser extent were losses...

Doueihi (pending) BJ Leilua, Luciano Leilua, Musgrove and the extentions of Mikaele, Garner, Twal and Talau with the strengthening of Junior Development with Simpkin, Cini, Hoffman has us looking stronger than 2019..IMO..certainly lightyears ahead of anything that's happened since 2012 really..Grant could be the cherry on top

Looking better to come 2021 with Utoikamanu joining..

You just have to laugh at the no one wants to come rhetoric...

It's a better outcome to LM. And make no mistake I reaaaaaaalllllllly wanted Latrell here. But we've better rounded out the squad. More depth, and while I'm still sceptical about how he will really go at fullback, he is could well go on to be an answer in the halves.

Surely Benji based on last years form romps into the 6 role. We need a fullback. I'm not sold on Doeihi either but that is the spot he has to make his own. He has to kill it there and then maybe move to the 6.

I still think that Tommy Talau will slide into the 5/8 spot after Benji.

I have a feeling he may quickly become too big for the 5/8th role at NRL level. He's just turned 19 and 92kg (6'2"), which is as heavy as Benji, and I doubt Talau will stop there.

I think he is a priority for the Raiders, and i guess they'd offer him a fair it. Doubt he'd leave unless its to the Rorters.

New fullback and new no9 ..five weeks out from the start of the season is going to make things a little difficult for the first month or so getting combinations to gell....but things are looking lot brighter than they were a week ago
