Agreed, but despite his shortcomings there, in tough contests and morally, the guy's ego is just about matched by his abilities with the ball, so if he learns more off Johns and competes more, his opponents will be very worried.

Agreed. He certainly wont be cheap especially if Mary gets the bullet he would probably want to stay to help rebuild his club

I don't think 2nd rowers is what we need either. Give Garner a chance there..... and you can't take Clutch Kam off the bench!

A fast winger, maybe with GK abilities is what we need... and if Packer doesn't come good. A Prop leader.

I don't think we need a prop leader. We have that Parra kid coming, Mikaele, Aloiai, Musgrove and Twal. If we could get Hass I'd be all for it but I can't see that happening.

I'm quite happy with our forward pack. Leilua and Garner is an excellent back row and we have Chee Kam and McQueen who can step in if and when required. I think our main focus should be on, as you say, some players with pace.

Frizell would really round out our pack and tip us in favour of winning most of our forwards battles. Not too sure about people saying we need an outside back rather than a forward like Frizell, our backs look alright for now:

I think we are one prop/lock short of having a pack that could compete with the best. However, I think that will have to wait for next year.
